Tutorial para jugar en red a travs de Steam usando SmartSteam

1. Instalar el juego habiendo elegido la versin Steam

o cambiar a dicha versin con la opcin 4 del men que aparece al hacer doble click en el
fichero options.cmd o en su acceso directo.

2. Instalar Steam (el instalador se encuentra en la carpeta redist del origen de la instalacin
del juego, aunque tambin se puede descargar de internet) y crear un usuario.

3. Aadir amigos a nuestro usuario Steam, que ser, en principio, con
quienes podamos jugar. Si se desconoce cmo hacerlo, buscar en Internet el
texto cmo agregar amigos al Steam? para ver los tutoriales que hay al
respecto.

4. Instalar SmartSteam (el instalador se encuentra igualmente en la carpeta
redist del origen de la instalacin del juego) y ejecutarlo con SmartSteam.exe
o su acceso directo.

5. Una vez Steam est cargado a travs de SmartSteam, ejecutar el juego
haciendo doble click en SupremeCommander2.exe, en su acceso directo

6. Dentro del juego, marcar Enable DLC content in skirmish and multiplayer, pinchar
sobre la opcin Multijugador y luego, el servidor, sobre Organizar partida. All, si
marcamos la opcin Friends Only, slo permitiremos que se conecten a nosotros
nuestros amigos Steam, no cualquier otro usuario.

La sala de espera se crear y esperaremos a que los clientes se unan a la partida a
travs de la opcin Multijugador y luego Unirse a partida.

Steam dir que estamos jugando al TrackMania Nations Forever, pero da igual lo que
Steam diga


6. Inside the game, click on Enable DLC content in skirmish and multiplayer, click on the
option Multiplayer and then, the server, on Create game. There, if we select the option
Friends Only, we will only allow our Steam friends to connect to our game.
The lobby will be created and there we will wait until the clients join our game through
Multiplayer and Join game.
Steam will say we are playing TrackMania Nations Forever, but no matter what Steam says
