PowerGrid was consulted and agreed to
reconfigure the cable entry routing due to
the presence of an existing PUB drainage
reserve. An RVO No.13 was issued to
effect the amendments needed.

of drawing by PowerGrid. Inprinciple
approval was given by PowerGrid on 17
Sept 10. Drawings submitted to Powergrid
on 18 Oct 10 and approved on 12 Nov 10

(1) Obstruction due to diversion

(2)Due to site constraints,modifications
to the ESS involving new trenches and
laying new lead in pipes was
needed.An RVO was issued to effect
the changes.Works for the new ESS
was completed on the 18th May 2010
and Power Grid Was requested to
inspect and take over the ESS. During
subsequent inspecton Power grid
commented the cable entry was too
steep and modifications need to be
carried out to facilitate smooth entry.
Due to obstructions caused by existing
CE drain and the excessive cost
involved in diversion of CE drains
Proposal was required to modify trench
layout.
