DPT Production Applauds New Law to Bring More
Opportunities to Oklahoma
New Rebate Law for Entertainment Production Aims to Create More In-State Jobs

OKLAHOMA CITY DPT Productions applauds House Bill 716 that was signed today,
which will bring more opportunities to Oklahoma.
Governor Wendall Oglethorpe signed a new law to boost film and music production in
Oklahoma. The new law was a bi-partisan effort co-authored by Rep. Debbie Doloop (D-
Oklahoma City) and Rep. Susan Wollop (R-Chickasha) that will grant a rebate of 75
percent of any state income or sales taxes related to in-state production of film, music, or
TV projects.
This new law is going to provide great opportunities not only for our company, but also
our state, said Davis Smith, owner of DPT Productions. With 75 percent of state
income and sales taxes related to production being rebated, DPT Productions will be able
to begin many different projects.
This new law will allow DPT Productions to attract business to the state in a no-cost way.
As DPT Productions begins to create films along with other new projects, it will provide
short-term job opportunities for many people who may be searching for a job. When DPT
Productions begins to consistently attract business, these short-term jobs have potential to
become permanent.
Similar laws have been passed in many other states. Most states pass these laws thinking
the state will not get many projects, with the exception of California, which helps to
create opportunities within each state.
With the new law, DPT Productions is excited to begin working on projects such as TV
shows and filmmaking, and also becoming part of the record business. DPT Productions
is working to create new ideas to provide clients more opportunities in the future.

Cooper University Announces Plan for
New Interactive System
Cooper University Joins Coalition to Create Interactive Medical Records System
New System Will Provide Access to Patient Records for Over 200 Medical Professionals

New Jersey Cooper University Hospital is proud to announce today its plan to create
the Camden Health Information Exchange, an interactive system of medical records.
Cooper University joins two fierce competitors, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and
Virtua Health, to create a medical records system that will allow medical professionals
across the state to access patients records. The plan will provide most primary care
givers in the city of 70,000, access to records such as hospital discharge summaries, lab
results, medications, and x-rays.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to really move the ball down the field, said Joe
Carr, Chief Information Officer at New Jersey Hospital Association. This is a chance to
show ourselves, and the public that we really can improve the quality of care.
Doctors often see sick patients for the first time and have no idea what past treatment
they have received. The Camden Health Information Exchange will provide doctors this
information, allowing them to find better ways to treat the patients. While doctor offices
can get busy at times, having access to the records will eliminate a step to treating
patients.
New Jersey joins four other similar efforts that are all being spurred by nearly $49 billion
in federal stimulus funds for health information technology. Delaware has a working
statewide exchange that includes nine of the states hospitals, while Pennsylvania is in the
early stages of creating a plan.
In order for a patients record to become part of the exchange, the patient will have to
give permission. After a patient gives permission for their record to be shared, only the
doctors and caregivers will have access to the system.
Cooper University looks forward to beginning this partnership with its competitors in
hopes of enhancing the care of its patients.

FAA Passes New Law Affecting Passengers
FAA President Signs Law Limiting Tarmac Waits to Three Hours

WASHINGTON, D.C. Airlines will now be forced to deplane passengers after three
hours of tarmac waits after a new law was passed today.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be enforcing the new law signed today
that includes a limit on tarmac waits to three hours. This legislation has been passed as a
safety measure for passengers on all future flights.
It has nothing to do with inconvenience, said Kate Hanni, founder of flyersights. As
long as it is a health and safety issue, its got a lot of legs.
After researching the issue and much debate over whether to pass the law or not,
researchers found that waiting on a plane for an extended period of time increases the
chance of a blood clot and can lead to other health problems.
Robert Crandall, former CEO of American Airlines, supports the new law but suggests
starting with a longer wait limit and begin working into the three hour time limit.
Crandall is concerned with how many flights will have to be changed or rescheduled by
enforcing a law with such strict time limits immediately.
Crandall anticipates more than 6,000 passengers in a six-month period being forced to
create alternative plans with this new law in affect. Se. Barabra Boxer (D-Calif.) urged a
quick passing of the bill for the safety of passengers, while encouraging airlines to find
the root of the problems that are creating the long wait times.
Passengers can expect to be affected by this new law immediately on all future flights
that encounter tarmac delays of three hours or more.

PURPOSE
The IMF promotes international monetary cooperation and exchange rate stability,
facilitates the balanced growth of international trade, and provides resources to help
members in balance of payments difficulties or to assist with poverty reduction. The
IMFs goal was to assist in the reconstruction of the worlds international payment
system after World War II.

HISTORY
The IMF is an international organization that was initiated in 1944 at the Bretton Woods
Conference and formally created in 1945 by 29 countries. During the Great Depression of
the 1930s, countries attempted to shore up their failing economies by sharply raising
barriers to foreign trade, devaluing their currencies to compete against each other for
export markets, and curtailing their citizens' freedom to hold foreign exchange. World
trade declined sharply and employment and living standards plummeted in many
countries. The IMF was created to manage the International monetary system to ensure
exchange rate stability.

MEMBERSHIP
The IMF is composed of 188 countries working to foster global monetary cooperation,
secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and
sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty around the world. Each member country
is assigned a quota. A quota is the amount of money each IMF member country is
required to contribute to the institution, partly in their own currency and partly in U.S.
dollars, gold or other member-country currencies. A countrys quota determines how
much financial assistant they can receive and its voting power. A member country can
borrow up to 200% of its quota a year. To become a member, a country has to apply and
be accepted by a majority of existing countries.

LEADERSHIP
The IMF's primary purpose is to ensure the stability of the international monetary
systemthe system of exchange rates and international payments that enables countries
(and their citizens) to transact with each other. The Funds mandate was updated in 2012
to include all macroeconomic and financial sector issues that bear on global stability. The
IMF executive board is in charge of decisions made by the member organization. There
are currently 24 directors on the executive board.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
The IMF provides technical assistance and training to help member countries strengthen
their capacity to design and implement effective policies. Technical assistance is offered
in several areas, including tax policy and administration, expenditure management,
monetary and exchange rate policies, banking and financial system supervision and
regulation, legislative frameworks, and statistics.

Cochran is the Clear Choice
Rayner Sullivan

Over the past three weeks, Mississippi voters have been overwhelmed with campaign
messages as neither Thad Cochran nor Chris McDaniel received over 50 percent of votes
in the Republican Primary in Mississippi. Thad Cochran faces the prospect of becoming
the first incumbent senator to lose a re-election bid this cycle. Mississippi Voters should
vote to elect Cochran for another term in the United States Senate.

Mississippi can not afford to lose Cochrans influence and ability to steer billions of
federal dollars back to the state. Cochran is a former Senate Appropriations Committee
chairman and could return if he is re-elected, allowing him to play a leading role in
deciding where the government spends its money. If McDaniel is elected, Senator
Shelby from Alabama will become the chairman of appropriations when Republicans
take back the senate, allowing Shelby to be responsible for allocating funds, rather than a
Mississippi Senator.

Cochran has proved during his past experience that he works to serve the constituents of
Mississippi. Cochran stood up to protect veterans pays, their benefits, and their
commissary privileges. During Hurricane Katrina, Cochrans efforts provided billions in
federal dollars for the Gulf Coast recovery efforts. Cochran also helped to pass the 2014
Farm Bill, setting the nations agriculture policies for the next five years, which was
important for Mississippi due to its large amount of farmers. Cochrans leadership and
experience is needed in Mississippi, as McDaniel has stated that he will not support
Cochran in the November election if Cochran is to beat him in the Republican Primary.

If McDaniel is elected as Senator that would mean drastic funding cuts for our schools
and universities. Cochran has continued to fight hard to improve education in Mississippi.
Cochran has worked to continue funding on the federal level for schools in Mississippi,
helping to bring in money to improve our schools, while keeping decisions about our
schools local. Currently $834 million in the fiscal year is from federal funds, as well as
hundreds of millions in additional federal dollars to the states community colleges and
universities. McDaniel wants to drastically cut the number of our federal funding dollars
because he believes Mississippi can make up for that money. Mississippi does not need to
spend its time and efforts trying to make up for that money that would be cut if
McDaniel is placed into office. Mississippi can not make up for these numbers if
McDaniel is elected and does not fight for education funding in Mississippi.

If Mississippi sends Cochran back to D.C., they will be sending someone who has a great
reputation as a statesman. Today only three senators have more tenure in the Senate than
Thad Cochran, while McDaniel has no experience in D.C. Cochrans experience is not
the only thing citizens for Thad admire about him, but also his ability to remain an active
and respected legislator among his colleagues and his willingness to move legislation
forward in a bipartisan effort when possible. McDaniel votes barely outnumbered
Cochran during the June 3rd election but fell a few thousand votes short of the majority
needed to claim the nomination. If he wins tonight, he will be the first senate candidate in
Mississippi to defeat an incumbent from his own party since 1942. With Mississippis
voting system of no voter party registration, anyone who did not vote in the Democratic
Primary June 3rd, is able to vote in the runoff.

It would be foolish to surrender our most valuable asset in Washington, D.C. Vote for
Thad Cochran for United States Senator.
