All countries will demand that you have a valid passport with at least six months
validity remaining before it expires. Check your passport BEFORE you do anything

TOURIST VISAS
Some countries require that you pay for a tourist visa, others do not.
There are many variables for getting a tourist visa so it is VITAL that you check with
the countrys consulate what the requirements are.
STUDENT VISAS
Some countries (for example Spain, France and Thailand) will grant you a student
visa if you want to study abroad in the country. Student visas usually cover studies in
further education institutions and authorised language schools. Student visas also
usually have a work provision for you to work part-time while you are studying. The
latter is certainly true for Spain.
There are many variables for getting a student visa so it is VITAL that you check with
the countrys consulate what the requirements are.
WORK VISAS
Some countries will allow you to either apply for a work permit before you travel or
convert a tourist visa to a work visa when you are in the country.
Getting a work visa is never a simple process.
