A live stunt show, film stars and star cars will be

the order of the day as preparations gather pace

for the Milford Haven Carnival on Saturday, July 5.
The procession, which will set off fromWaterloo
Square at 1pm, will conclude at its traditional arena at the
Milford Haven Athletic FC grounds at Pill Field, Pill Lane,
after parading down St Annes Road, Hamilton Terrace,
past the Town Hall, Sandhurst Road and then picking up
The Rath.
This years theme is The Movies and features special
celebrity guests including Austin Powers, Audrey
Hepburn and Lara Croft.
Vehicles taking part will include a Pink Cadillac
and The Delorean from Back to the Future, a
tank and a Humvee, which will join the parade
amid a number of floats.
Milford Haven Town Band and Samba Doc
will provide the musical entertainment as the
procession weaves through the town.
In the arena, after the procession, a live stunt
team (main event) will wow the gathered crowds.
The younger
audience will be
kept entertained
by The Crazy
Bears children
entertainers,
birds of prey, face
painting, circus skills
demonstrations and
a gymnastics display
from children of the
town.
Also on offer will be
a food court, photo
opportunities with the
stars and star cars, a
fairground and a number of stalls selling
a wide variety of products.
This years overall best Carnival float will
receive a fantastic 500, while the second
placed entry will receive 300 and third will
get 200. Group entrants will also receive
100 towards costs (vehicular or not)
provided 15 or more people participate in
the entry.
Chairman Dan Davies said: The
Round Table look forward to this
years carnival. We believe that
once again it will be a fun-filled
weekend for all the family which
will be an alcohol free zone.

grandparents and anybody else
who likes to be entertained! It
will be a fantastic afternoon for
all the family. We hope you can all
make it!
The overall theme and the
entertainment that has been
confirmed will surely add an extra exciting and unique
dimension.
