Man is an achiever
Were not a bunch of underachievers, were gonna stand up and were gonna be human
beings.
Man, human being or scientifically speaing, !omo sapiens all point to the same
entity which possesses superior intelligence that enables abstract reasoning, language and
introspection, emotions, and most especially, free will. Mans evolution is comple", very
comple" enough that leaves scientists still searching for the unnown, the missing lin
and the e"act e"planation. #ources, lie the !oly $ible, which is one of the earliest
recogni%ed compilation of writings, has accounted man as a steward, a person with reign
over lower forms of animals and a being who &od has entrusted everything. $y these,
there is no doubt that man has the greatest capacity over other living things' if otherwise,
the $ible must have mentioned the opposite. (hough facts have been vaguely established
these days, mans evolution doesnt stop anytime, it is an unending process. )ow, we are
still evolving. *emember that many years ago, computers werent around, then by
technology and practice, we +at least the scientists and engineers, learned to build it and
then finally, we learned to use it with much ease. Mans capabilities, therefore, are
limitless and boundless. (here is no doubt that man can do great things if we only harness
more of what we can do. Were not -ust a bunch of underachievers because definitely we
are much more than that.
As it has been redundantly pointed above, man is an achiever. $ecause we are
human beings, there are a lot of e"pectations and that we must act accordingly and thin
right. We have no right, whatsoever, to disgrace our species. $eing an achiever, does not
only mean to reach to the top and thats it but a much more worthy meaning is being able
to withstand all difficulties, being able to rise up to the challenge may it be physical,
emotional, or certain other things, and most especially being happy and contented at the
end. (here is much more to life than glamour and riches. Are we gonna disgrace our
species with these earthly desires. Arent we much more than that. We are given superior
intelligence. We must use it of course. We must not be easily blinded with what is
sparling, shinning shimmering and splendid. )either must we give up in the middle of
hardships. (here may be times when we feel trapped and there may be only a little way
out, we as beings with emotions, may empowered by these unnecessary feelings of
downfall which / believe each one of us has at least e"perienced. 0nnecessary feelings
because again these feelings are not helping us in great ways rather most of the times, it
only depresses our minds to thin more though /m not generally speaing. *emember
again that we are born to achieve for what is best not only for ourselves but for everyone
around us and for what is right. 1earn to harness what we have and believe what we can
do, and surely enough, we can achieve. )ever give up, stand up, fight, achieve and be
contented.
2ne thing most important to bear in mind that with this great power comes great
responsibility. $y great power, we mean our intelligence, reasoning and free will. We
were the only ones given with these all three. We must tae full responsibility over it.
And how must we be able to do that, is by conditioning our mind to thin only what is
right. We will never go wrong with this. /t may be honestly hard to do sometimes
especially in stressful and hard situations but recall, we are human beings and were not
-ust underachievers. We are e"pected to a do a stretch out of our comfort %ones, a little
out of our league and be able to eep this responsibility fully.
