What is the domains and measures spreadsheet?

This spreadsheet contains all the currently proposed domains and measures of National Well-being. And is designed to be used
alongside both the wheel of measures and the various articles released during the year which cover the Well-being programme.

What can be found within the spreadsheet?

As well as providing the latest datapoints for each measure, where applicable, a time series of data are also presented along with
useful links to both data sources and other websites which may be of interest.

How is it different to the wheel of measures?

The domains and measures spreadsheet provides longer runs of data. The wheel of measures provides a useful comparison of the
latest datapoints and the nearest previous datapoint. The wheel is also useful for presenting and visualising all the domains and m
in one easily viewed image.

How does it support well-being articles?

The spreadsheet contains information that is included in each article. While the articles contain more information the tables or gra
measures that are included in them are often shorter than those included within the spreadsheet. The introductory tab to each do
contains a link to each published article.

When will it be updated?

This is the second publication of the spreadsheet this year, the first being on the 24 July 2012 and where applicable data have bee
There is not currently a regular publication schedule. As the measures are reviewed we will also assess when data are available.
Once this is known a decision will be made on when and how often the spreadsheet will be updated.

Further information on the Well-being programme
