1. Guia reads some books on rice. She found that rice was one the first crops people raised. People have
been raising rice for hundreds of years. It has always been an important crop because it can be used to
make different kinds of foods.
2. Water is used for drinking. We also use it for bathing. It is used for cooking and washing dirty clothes.
Water has many uses.
