Subject: Corridor X bridge near Pirot. Post-tensioning.


Dear Sirs,
with reference to your enquiry and the correspondence held, we are pleased to submit
you our technical and economic proposal for the above mentioned bridge as per the
scope of work defined hereunder, including supply of indicated materials and rental of
equipment.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORKS

For the realization of the bridge in the subject, we offer:
post-tensioning material supply and equipment rental

All the material quantities offered shall be confirmed by your Procurement department;
in case of any variation to what follows, this offer shall be subject to revision.

1 MATERIAL
We will provide anchorages, steel strand, ducts and necessary accessories to install the
Post-Tensioning systems. We have considered to supply:

1.1 Anchorages
All anchorages are considered as live and accessible. No transversal post-tensioning is
included in the project.

1.1.1 Internal post-tensioning system
The MTAI post-tensioning anchorage system, with its compact geometry and reduced
angle of deviation, is the most modern, high-performance TENSACCIAI development.
Prices of live anchorages include the supply of casting, wedge plate, HDPE connector
and wedges.

The following anchorages are offered:
9MTAI (up to 9 strands) 8 Nos.
12MTAI (up to 12 strands) 24 Nos.

1.1.2 Coupler MTG system
The MTG coupler system is fully integrated with the MTAI system and allows
installations of cables in different separate stages.
The design foresees the use of 9No. x 0,6 strand tendons couplers. Prices include the
supply of casting, coupling disk, HDPE and steel connector, wedges with springs.

The total number of MTG anchorages is as follows:
9MTG couplers 12 Nos.
12MTG couplers 36 Nos.

1.1.3 External post-tensioning system
The design foresees the use of 9No. x 0,6S strand tendons. Prices include the supply
of casting, anchor head wedge plate + deviator, wedges and plastic grout cap.
Any steel form tubes to be welded onto the casting and embedded into the concrete at
the anchorage zone is not included in our quotation.

The following anchorages are offered:
9MTAIE (up to 9 strands) 48 Nos.


1.2 Grouting accessories
Grouting accessories (Grout and vent port and pipes, valves) prices are included in the
Subcontract price proposed.

1.3 Ducts

1.3.1 Ducts for internal Post-Tensioning

Corrugated galvanised metal ducts supplied in 5.8m long element, inclusive of one
coupler per each duct piece are offered.
The following ducts will be provided:
72/77 th=0,35mm duct 947.00m
80/85 th=0,35mm duct 2,863.00m

1.3.2 Ducts for external post-tensioning

Supply of HDPE rigid pipe to be butt welded on site whenever necessary.
Diameter shall be as follows:

90mm OD 1,784.00m

1.4 7-wires low relaxation steel strand

Supply of low relaxation 15.7 mm (0.62) diameter, 150mm

nominal cross section,
grade 1860/1670 N/mm2, 1.18 kg/m unit weight steel strand is included in this offer;
quantity are as follows:
15.7mm steel strand 69,550.00 kg

The quantity above doesnt include stressing overlength and scraps, which are anyway
included in the price proposed.

2 POST-TENSIONING EQUIPMENT
We foresees the needing of the following equipment to perform the post tensioning
tendons installation:
No. 1 hydraulic monostrand jacks and relevant hydraulic pump for anchorages
prestressing;
No. 1 MT3000 hydraulic multistrand jack;
No. 1 hydraulic pump for anchorages prestressing;
No. 1 strand pushing machine for strands threading into the ducts;
No. 1 grouting pump for tendon injection;
No. 1 HDPE duct welding machine;
No. 1 strand dispensers.

A bank guarantee for the whole value of the equipment on rental is required.

3 PRICES
Prices for the supply of material and rental of the equipment as detailed above are as
follows:

4 GENERAL CONDITIONS

4.3 At TENSACCIAIs charge

4.3.1 all materials described in the present quotation, delivered EXW-Udine;
4.3.2 the rental of equipment, delivered EXW, for the works as described at
paragraphs 2;

4.4 At Contractors charge

4.4.1 Materials storage area; lockable warehouse for storage of equipment;
4.4.2 supply of integrated shop drawings, as built records;
4.4.3 all lifting equipment to lift up materials and to handle materials and equipment
where necessary;
4.4.4 full time lifting during stressing and strand installation activities;
4.4.5 supply and installation of all the conventional reinforcement including the local
zone spiral and the anchorage reinforcement;
4.4.6 supply the support chairs or the U bars for PT tendons;
4.4.7 fixing of multi strand anchors, both live and dead end;
4.4.8 any diablo, deviator or steel pipe for the external post-tensioning;
4.4.9 supply of all tendon grouting materials;
4.4.10 lighting of deck and site area in general;
4.4.11 electrical power, compressed air up and water to installation place;
4.4.12 any structures geometrical control and any calculations related to loads to be
applied to the tendons, to structural deformations during every phase of cables
stressing;
4.4.13 maintenance equipment and personnel;
4.4.14 price for return of TENSACCIAI equipment;
4.4.15 additional tests on materials or on PT system (if any);
4.4.16 all risk insurance policy;
4.4.17 VAT and any other local taxes or custom duty;
4.4.18 what excluded in the Scope of Works.

5 OTHER CONDITIONS

PAYMENT: material 100% by L/C. Payments for equipment rental shall be by
direct TT guaranteed by bank security; the same security shall cover also the value
of the equipment in case of any damage or theft.
ESCALATION OF PRICES: Prices are fixed and firm for 30 days. After that term
this offer shall be revised.
VALIDITY OF THE OFFER: 30 days.
DELIVERY: to be agreed.
