SCHEDULE CHANGE / DROP DATE INFORMATION

Requests for changes to student schedules will be accepted for the following reasons:
1. Incomplete schedule
2. Credit has already been earned in a class
3. Change in a level within the same subject ex: Pre-AP/AP to Advanced level.

Changes to student schedules WILL NOT be approved for
1. Elective changes
2. Request for a specific teacher, period, or lunch time.

SEMESTER COURSE CHANGE AND DROP DEADLINES

Last day for students to change to a new course

*These changes will only occur if there is an error in the student schedule or the student
earned credit for the course in summer school.
September 12,
2014
Last day to drop a course with a failing grade with no impact on UIL eligibility.

*A student who drops a class with a failing grade after the end of the 4
th
week is ineligible
October 31,
2014
Last opportunity to drop a full year course for a non-credit class. Last day to change a
level and/or drop a course for study hall, off campus (senior only) or office aide (junior or
senior only)

January 20, 2015
Last day to change a 2
nd
semester class to a new
semester course. Note: These changes will only
occur if:
1. There is an error in the student schedule.
2. The student took the course in summer school
which constitutes a change
March 20, 2015
Last opportunity to drop a semester course for a
non-credit class. Last day to change a level and/or
drop a course for study hall, off campus (senior
only) or office aide (junior or senior only)
