Christmas Made in the South 2011 JAX review - Jacksonville

events
Some of the familiar vendors from previous years returned to Christmas Made in the South for the
2011 Jacksonville, Florida trade show and they stepped-it-up a notch. There was so much more to
see, feel and taste this year. Many new & old tradesmen, with creative one-of-a-kind gifts &
treasures, spent 3 days at the Prime Osborn Center supplying individuals with gift-to give away and
some gifts to keep for themselves. More merchants took advantage of Small Business Saturday by
using modern technology if you desired to use plastic (ATM's are available and most businesses were
equipped with credit card machines). This year's show was stupendous.
If you want to get more into the Christmas spirit - make plans to attend next year's Christmas Made
in the South and it may not be to late to plan in an area close to you (visit their website here) or ask
you local Chamber of Commerce if they would have Carolina Shows come to your city. The 3 day
adventure will be worth your while, but if you still need a unique gift to bestow upon someone dear,
you may still order from the website of some of this year's contributors listed below. Also take a look
at the Slide Show to the left of this column to see the crafts that have traveled from the north, south,
