$120,000 to $135,000 with the possibility of a
little extra money to cover moving expenses.

board members from Albany, Bartlett, Conway,
Chatham, Eaton, Harts Location and Jack-
son, voted 15-1 (Scott Grant, of Bartlett in the
minority) Thursday night to post that salary in
a nationwide advertisement which will go out
next week.
Despite a nationwide search, just two can-
didates applied for the position in January
and neither met the criteria the selection
committee was looking for.
Carl Nelson, who has been the superin-
tendent of the SAU for the past 16 years and
delayed retirement twice, was under contract
through the end of June, but agreed to return
