Abilene, TX February 12, 2013 Beauregard Electric Cooperative in Louisiana has chosen
Milsoft Electric Utility Solutions Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Communications Software.
Beauregard EC, already a user of Milsoft Engineering Analysis, OMS, and GIS, has now completed its
Milsoft E&O system with the addition of Milsoft IVR Communications. We are excited to extend our
collaboration with Milsoft while offering our members greater flexibilities. During this process, we have
had an excellent experience with Milsoft software and support, said IT Manager Margaretta Mayes,
and we are especially pleased with the the Milsoft E&O System integration and interoperability.
Milsoft IVR Communications is used by nearly 250 electric utilities for customer communications and
service as well as employee communications and scheduling. The system includes two-way IVR and
email messaging, and integrates with text messaging providers. Milsoft IVR Communications enables
utilities to be in communication with their customers and employees 24/7/365 while providing the same
consistent, accurate and clear information in every call. Further, it allows customers to take care of a
variety of needs from reporting outages to paying their bill while ensuring that no customer is turned
away by a busy signal. And it accomplishes all this at a cost far less than doing so with additional
employees.
