bombarded with presentations for literally hundreds of games forall the platforms. There were
lotsoftitlesthatstoodoutfromthecrowd,includingquiteafewbrandnewIPs.Whilesomeof
theseprojectshavebeenannouncedorrumoredpriortoE32014,thereareafewthatwereonly
revealedduringtheeventitself.Weareheretotakealookatthesegamesandseewhichofthem
managedtogetusthemostexcited.SowithoutfurtheradoIgiveyouourlistoftop10newIPs
featured at E3 2014. 10.Battlecry
BattlecryisthelatestgamerevealedbyBethesdaSoftworksandBattlecryStudios.Whilemanyof
us would have preferred to hear that the company is working on Fallout 4 or the next Elder
Scrollstitle,theannouncementofanewIPiswelcomednewsaswell.UnveiledshortlybeforeE3
2014,Battlecryisa32playerfreetoplayonlineactiongamethattakesplaceinaworldwheregun
powder has been banned. The titlepromises visceralcombat, innovative weapons and dynamic
movement.TheCossacksandRoyalMarinesfactionshavealreadybeenrevealedwhileathirdone

Mans Sky
DevelopedbyalittleknownstudiothatgoesbythenameofHelloGames,NoMansSkymanaged
to stand out from the crowd in a big way at E3 2014. The gameputs you into a completely
uncharted universe and lets you explore it at your own pace.No Mans Sky hasprocedurally
generated open worlds, which feature a wide variety of environments and ecosystems that
arereminiscent of Spore. However,this particular title is looking much more promising and
alsoincludesthingslikefirstpersonspacecombatandamultiplayercomponentthatallowsplayers

Deck13InteractiveandCIGameshavecreatedatitlethatcloselyfollowstheDarkSoulsformula
andisunsurprisinglybeingpublishedbyNamcoBandai.LordsoftheFallenisanactionRPGwith
anoriginalstorythattakesplaceinaworldwherehumanityhasdefeatedtheirdemonicgod,and
hasnowmadeittheirgoaltoridtheworldofallformsofevil.Youwillhavetomemorizeattack
patternsinordertodefeatyouropponentsandpatiencewillonceagainbekey.Thereareatotal
of nine weapon types spread across thethree classesand as you might have suspected already,
meleecombatwillbeyourbreadandbutter.Ifyouenjoyedthecompanysprevioustitlesthiswill

MicrosoftsE3 2014 trailer for Scaleboundabsolutely blew me away. The game seems to be
combining the real world with a fantasy one thats being inhibited by giant monsters. This epic
videofeaturesaDantelookalike(DevilMayCry)protagonistthatsfightingdragons,hydras,and
othermythicalbeasts.Oh,andhealsohasanawesomepairofheadphones!Scaleboundisbeing
developedbyPlatinumGamesandwillpresumablybesomesortofactionadventuregamewith
spectacle fighter elements. Microsoft hasnt revealed much so all we have for the moment is
thetrailer. Platforms: Xbox One. Release Date: TBA. 6.Sunset Overdrive
SunsetOverdrivehasoneofthestrangeststoriesIveheardinaverylongtime.Thegamerevolves
around the idea that in the near future an energy drink calledOvercharge Delirium XT has
transformedalargepartofSunsetCityspopulationintomutants.Thebeverageisbeingproduced
byFizzCo, a company that basically controls the world. It seems that the people turning into
mutantspartwasanaccident,butneverthelesssomebodyhastomakethingsright.Thatsomeone
isyou.SunsetOverdriveisbeingdevelopedbyInsomniacGamesandwillfocusonagilecombat.
The third person shooter will features things like wallrunning, ziplines, andall sort of other
acrobatic moves. Platforms: Xbox One. Release Date: October 28, 2014. 5.Destiny
Notexactlyarecentlyannouncedgame,butDestinyisforallintentsandpurposesanewIPsowe
wanted to include it anyway. The gameplay demo presented at E3 provided us with a bunch of
newdetailsabouttheupcomingtitle.Bungiealsoannouncedattheeventthatthealphatestphase
wasstartingsoon.AtthetimeofthiswritingthePS4alphaisalreadyinprogressandweassume
otherplatformswillfollowsometimeinthenearfutureaswell.Destinybetawillkickoffstarting
with July 17th for the PS3 and PS4, we are still waiting for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One

4.Tom Clancys The Division
Formerlyoneofthemostanticipatedtitlesoftheyear,TheDivisionwassadlypushedbackto2015.
On the bright side, we recently managed to get a good look at the game thanks to the E3 2014
gameplay demo.The never before seen footage revealed that we can expect some extremely
realisticcombatsequencesfromtheupcomingtitle.Thisinspiredbyrealworldeventsgamehas
youplayingasanagentofTheDivision,agrouptaskedwithcombatingthethreatthatemergedas
a result of a catastrophic incident. Ubisoft is doing an excellent job with Tom Clancys The
Divisionfromwhatweveseensofar,especiallyonthevisualside.Hopefullywellgettoseesome
more of the gamesoon. Platforms: Xbox One, PS4, PC. Release Date: 2015. 3.Evolve
EvolveisshapinguptobequiteanamazingtitleiftheE32014gameplayfootageisanythingtogo
by.AbrandnewmonsterthatgoesbythenameofKrakenwasrevealedattheevent.Thiscreature
is very different that Goliath and comes with its own unique sets of skills and abilities. Evolve
somehowseemstogetbetterbytheday,whichmeansKrakenandGoliatharenottheonlyones
evolving,thegameitselfisdoingitaswell.ThetitleisanupcomingcoopFPSthatplayslikea4v1
PVPdeathmatchwherefourplayersarepitagainstagiantmonstercontrolledbythefifthplayer.

Another delayed title, The Order: 1886 is an actionadventure game set in an alternate history
versionofVictorianEraLondon.Inthisworldmonstersareveryrealandyougettofightthem.To
helpyouwiththisendeavor,TheOrder:1886providesyouwithanarsenalofadvancedweaponry
and gadgets. The gameplay trailer presentedat E3 2014 reveals that even thoughyou are a
memberofapowerfulorderofknights,takingdownmonstersisstillverydifficult.Thegameplans
toberealisticanditdoesntputyouintotheshoesofasuperhero,youarejustamanfightingfor
humanityinitsdarkesthour.TheOrder:1886isbeingdevelopedbyReadyatDawnandpublished
by Sony. Platforms: PS4. Release Date: February 20, 2015. 1.Bloodborne
Formerly known as Project Beast, the game is another Dark Souls lookalike coming from none
otherthanthefolksatFromSoftware.BloodborneissetintheancientcityofYharnamwherea
terrible curse has transformed most of the population into deranged monsters. You will have to
face your fears as you battle these atrocities and hope that youll survive to tell the story.
BloodbornehasoneofthemostbadasslookingprotagonistsIveeverseen.Heseemstobejustas
scaryifnotmoresothatthemonstersthemselves.Thegamefeaturesthesamebloodydifficult
combatweallknowandlovefromDarkSoulsandDemonSouls.Youllagainbeusingmagicand
gruesomemeleeweaponstotakedownyourfoes,butthistimearoundyoullalsohavefirearms
to complete your arsenal. Platforms: PS4. Release Date: 2015. There were other great new IPs
presentedatE32014,butwefeelthatthese10weredefinitelythebestones.Welookforwardto
