Martin and Julia
We live in a small old house in Oxford. Our house is quite near the center. Weve got a living room, a dining
room, a small kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. And we have a small hall. Weve got a big garden. We
prefer to be near the city center- its near the shops and its very convenient for the theatre and cinema. Weve
got a car but we havent got a garage we have to park it in the street.

Margaret
I live on my own in a small modern house in a village near Southampton. Ive got one big living room
downstairs and a small kitchen with a washing machine. I dont have a hall. Theres a bedroom and a
bathroom upstairs. I havent got a very big garden, but its very nice. I really like the house. Its very near to the
shops, and the neighbours are very friendly. Now that Im old thats very important.

Christine and Jan
We live with our children in a big old house, in a small town near London. Its got two living rooms, a dining
room, a big kitchen and a study. Im an artist, so I work in the study. There are four bedrooms. Weve got two
garages. The washing machine is in one garage and the car is in the other! Weve also got a big garden. The
station is near and I often go to London for the day.

doua dormitoare, o sufragerie, o bucatarie si doua bai. Am o gradina mare si un garaj. Masina mea este in

In dormitorul meu am un pat, un dulap , o noptiera si doua tablouri. Mobila este noua. In sufragerie am o
masa, o canapea ,doua fotolii, un televizor si doua tablouri. In bucatarie am o masa, patru scaune, frigider,
aragaz, un dulap de vase si o chiuveta. In baie am o cada, o chiuveta, un veceu si o oglinda. Aceasta este
casa mea.
