Diolog Rumplestiltskin
Narrator :Once upon a time,in a distant land,there lives a family who has a daughter named
Lisa.Her mother and father are so proud of her,always telling people how clever she is and
all the wonderful things she can do.And one day,they invite the villagers to their cottage to
taste Lisa`s baking good.
Father :Everone!Come and have a taste of Lisa`s amazing currant buns!
Mother:Yes! Yes!There are also jam tarts and apple pie here.Every thing is made by
Lisa.She is really brilliant!
Narrator :At the moment,there is the sound of cheering and trumpet outside,signaling the
arrival of the king.
Everyone:Long live the king (x3)
King:I can smell apple pie.My favourite.
Mother:Oh,please,Your majesty,come and try a slice.
Narrator :The king come into the cottage and eats the pie.The king loves the pie so much
that he licks his fingers while saying
King: Scrumptious!Delicious!That`s the best pie I`ve evertasted.Who made it?
Mother :My daughter,Lisa.She`s the cleverest girl there ever was!
Father:Indeed Your Majesty.Everything that she bakes tastes simply wonderful.
Lisa:Oh father ,please be quiet.
Mother:Lisa can also weave the most beautiful cloth and spin the finest thread.
King :There are plenty of people at the palace who can bake and weare and spin.
Father :None of them can be as clever as Lisa.She can do anything at all.
Lisa:Father,don`t be silly.
Mother :Go on ,Your Majesty,you ask her.
King :What shall I ask her to do?
:Ok,Ask her to spin straw into gold.
Lisa:Oh,please,Your Majesty please don`t take notice of father.
Mother:But Lisa,you`re so clever you probably could spin straw into gold if you tried.
Narrator :Lisa`s father also tells the king that Lisa is so clever that she can spin straw into
gold.But Lisa is honest.She tells the king she can`t do that but he doesn`t listen to her.
King:If you really can turn straw into gold,I`ll reward you.If not,I shell cut off your head.
Lisa :Oh please,Your Majesty,please don`t take notice of father.
Mother :Please,Your Majesty,her father was only joking.
Father :Yes,Yes.I was only joking.
Narrator:The kingdom is not very rich.He needs some more gold.He tells Lisa to spin straw
into gold or he will cut off her head.Lisa`s mother is worried.She tells the kingher husband
was just joking.The king refuses to listen to them.
:He took her into a room which was full of straw and gave her a spinning wheel.
King: Now get to work,and if by tomorrow morning you have not spun this straw into gold
during the night,you and your father will be sent away from my kingdom.
Narrator :Then he locked up the room,and left her alone
Lisa :Oh,what am I going to do?I don`t how straw can be spun into gold .
Narrator :Then the door opened.
Rumplestiltskin :Good evening,why are you crying?
Lisa :I have to spin straw into gold,and I do not know how to do it.
Rumplestiltskin :What will you give me if I do it for you?
Lisa :My necklace.
Rumplestiltskin :I accept.Give me your necklace.
Narrator :Then he sat in front of the wheel,and whirr,whirr,whirr,three turns,and the reel was
full ,then he put another on,and whirr,whirr,whirr,three times round,and the second was full
too.And so it went on until the morning,when all the straw was spun,and all the reels were
full of gold.
Rumpletiltskin :I have to go now since I already finished my work.I will see you soon.
Narrator: Then the king entered the room.
King :Oh!I`m so surprised and delighted of your work,little girl !Now you will go to another
room full of straw and will keep spinning.
Narrator :The girl didn`t know what to do ,and started crying again.Then little man
appeared.
Rumpletlitskin :What will you give me if I spin that straw into gold for you?
Lisa :The ring on my finger.
Rumpletiltskin :I accept,give me your ring.
Narrator :Again the little man began to turn the wheek,and by morning had spun all the
straw into glittering gold ,and disappeared.The next morning,the king sees the gold.He
wants more gold.He puts Lisa in a biggest room full of straw.
King : If you can spin it all into gold,then I will make you my Queen.But rememberif it
isn`t turned into gold by tomorrow morning,I`ll cut off your head.
Narrator :On the third day,the king fills the tower with straw.He tells Lisa that he will marry
her if she spins all the straw into gold or he will behead her.Lisa is very sad.She has nothing
to give Rumplestiltskin if he comes that night to help her.
:From a high tower..
:Lisa`s parents come to see her and she tells them her problem.Lisa`s father tells
her to promise the Rumplestiltskin anything.
Father :Promise him whatever he asks.
Lisa :But I`ve nothing to give him next time.
Mother :Tell him you`ll give him something when you get home.
Narrator: When the girl was alone the little man came again for the third time.
Rumplestiltskin :What will you give me if I spin the straw for you this time also?
Lisa :I have nothing left that I could give you.
Rumplestiltskin :Then promise me,when you become queen,you will give me your first
child.
Lisa: I promise you.
Narrator :Then the little man once once more spun the straw into gold.In the morning he
disappeared again.Then the king entered the room.
King :Very good.Now you will be my wife.You will become queen.
Narrator :A year after,she brought a beautiful child into the world,and she forget about the
promise she made to the little man.Suddenly he came into her room
Ruplestiltskin :Now give me wha you promised.
Lisa :Oh no!I can not give you my son.I offer you all the riches of the kingdom if you don`t
take my son away from me.
Ruplestilskin :No,he is dearer to me than all the treasures in the world.
Lisa :Please,no!
Ruplestilskin :I will give you three days.If by that time you find out my name,then you will
keep your child.
Narrator :So the queen thought the whole night of all the names that she had ever heard.
Lisa :What can his name be?I know ,I will send a messenger over the country to find out for
any other names that there might be.
Narrator :When the little man came the next day,she said.
Lisa :Mmm.your name is. Caspar.
Rumplestiltskin :No.
Mother :Frand valse
Rumpletiltskin :Of course not.
Father :Then it`s Balthazar.
Rumplestiltskin :That is not my name.
Narrator :On the second day she asked around the neighborhood for names of the people
there.When the little man came again,she said.
Lisa :Perhaps your name is Shortribs.
Rumplestilskin :No!
Mother :Then it`s Sheepshanks.
Rumplestilskin :Think again.
Father :Laceleg?
Rumplestilskin :That is not my name also.
Narrator :Little man gives her another chance.He tells her to guess his name correctly in
next days or he will take the baby.
:The next day,she and her parents try to guess the little man`s name but they
fail.Lisa`s parents follow the little man into the woods.They see him dancing around a small
fire.He sings and says his name.Then they go away quietly.
Rumplestilskin :Wife and family I have none.But tomorrow I`ll have the King`s own
son.Tricks and riddles are my game,Rumplestilskin is my name.
Lisa :Oh this is great news.Thank you!
Narrator :Then the little man came.
Rumplestiltskin :Now,my dear queen,what is my name?
Lisa :Is your name Conrad?
Rumplestiltskin :Nop.
Mother :Is your name Harry?
Rumplestiltskin :No.
Lisa :Perhaps your name is Rumplestiltskin.
Rumplestiltskin :Who told you that! Who told you that!
Lisa :Now,you have to keep your promise.I told you your name,you will not take my little
son with you.
Rumplestiltskin :Yes,my queen.
Narrator :And the little man disappeared.
