Lake Toba

Lake Toba is a lake and supervolcano. The lake is 100 kilometres

long, 30 kilometres wide, and up to 505 meters (1,666 ft) deep.
Located in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island
of Sumatra with a surface elevation of about 900 metres (2,953 ft). It
is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the
world.

Lake Toba is the site of a massive supervolcanic eruption estimated
at VEI 8 that occurred 69,000 to 77,000 years ago, representing a
climate-changing event.

It is the largest known explosive eruption on Earth in the last 25 million years. According
to the Toba catastrophe theory, it had global consequences for human populations: it
killed most humans living at that time and is believed to have created a population
bottleneck in central east Africa and India, which affects the genetic make up of the
human world-wide population to the present.

This hypothesis is not widely accepted because evidence is lacking for a decline or
extinction of other animals, including species that are sensitive to changes in the
environment. It has been accepted that the eruption of Toba led to a volcanic winter with
a worldwide decrease in temperature between 3 to 5 C (5.4 to 9.0 F), and up to 15 C (27
F) in higher latitudes.

Synyster gates
He is the son of musician, author, and comedian Brian Haner, Sr., who worked with Sam the
Sham's band in the 1970s and has done session work for Avenged Sevenfold. Gates studied at
the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, as part of the Guitar Institute of Music
program, studying jazz and classical guitar. He was featured on the EP Warmness on the Soul
which contains select songs from the first album as well as Synyster's new version of "To End
The Rapture". His name on Avenged Sevenfold's debut album was "Synyster Gates".
On the Avenged Sevenfold DVD All Excess, Syn claimed that his name was created on a
drunken drive through the park with The Rev.
Gates was voted Sexiest Male in the 2008 Kerrang Readers Poll. In 2010, Guitar World listed
Synyster Gates as one of the 30 greatest shredders of all time. They described him as being able
to perform finger-twisting licks, acrobatic sweeps, devilish chromatics and towering dual-
harmonies. Synyster was chosen as one of Guitar Hero's 50 fastest guitarists. On Guitar World's
2010 Readers Poll, Synyster Gates was chosen Snappiest Dresser and the Best Metal Guitarist.
Rock One Magazine's 2010 Readers Poll voted Gates the #3 best musician in the industry. On
April 20, 2011, Haner won the Revolver Golden God award for Best Guitarist along with band
mate, Zacky Vengeance. Avenged Sevenfold picked up numerous other awards and delivered the
headlining performance of the night.

In the Special Edition of Revolver magazine that was
released the same day as the Nightmare album, Synyster Gates stated that he originally started
out writing the song "So Far Away" in honor of his grandfather. However, the song is now
primarily about Syn's former band mate, The Rev,

who died in December 2009.
Snakes Senses
Snakes dont see or hear as well as other animals. A snake has eyes but
no eyelids. They have clear scales over their eyes. Most snakes can see
movement, but some snakes are blind.
Snakes dont have ears. They have bone in their heads that can sense low
sounds and vibrations.
Snakes have a great sense of smell. A snake flicks out its forked (divided)
tongue to collect scents. It doesnt mean the snakes is hungry. The snakes-pulls
its tongue in and sticks the forked tips into a place in the roof of its mount called
jacabsons organ. This way smelling lets snakes find other snakes as well as
prey (animals it hunts for food)
Pit vipers, boas, and pythons have small pits on their heads that can sense
heat. These pits help a snake sense when a warm-blooded animal is near.
