Why should a student take the
PSAT Prep Course?
Fort Bend ISD is dedicated to helping our
students perform their best on tests such as
the PSAT and SAT. Students in our Prep
Course learn strategies in test taking and are
given the opportunity for small group
practice for the PSAT.
This course is taught by Fort Bend ISD
teachers who have been trained by the
Learning Systems staff - test experts who
have been providing preparation course
materials nationally since 1979. The
Learning Systems program is the result of
hours of extensive research associated with
standardized testing. Through this research,
experts were able to develop a course that
high school students were willing to take to
help them improve their scores.
By simply understanding the
directions to the test ahead of time,
a student may have an advantage
over those who take the test without
that understanding. Students must
still give their full attention to the
content and apply each tactic learned
to achieve the best results.
While no company, person, or prep
course can guarantee a score increase on
the PSAT for every student, knowing what
to expect on the test can give a student one
big advantage - being prepared!
