How to Copy CD to CD

1. First to launch Nero StartSmart: Go to Start->All Programs->Burn a CD or

Data DVD->Nero StartSmart. Or you can just go to Start->Nero
StartSmart

2. This will bring up the Nero StartSmart main window. Select the Copy and
Backup icon, and then click on Copy Disc option.

3. This brings up the Nero Express Select source and destination window.

4. Place the disc you wish to copy, Music CD, Data CD, Video CD, etc. in the
Source drive and place a blank CD in the Destination drive.

Click on More, after you have placed your medium in the drives. Or click
Burn to begin the Write operation to the CD.

5. If you selected Burn, you will go to the final step; If you selected the
More option, you will get a drop down for more added control of the write
method used.

1) Determine maximum speed The speed test determines how quickly the compiled files
can be accessed. If the access speed is slower than the burning speed, the burning speed
is reduced so as to avoid a poor or failed write operation.

2) Simulation - The simulation runs all the steps involved in burning a medium apart from
activating the laser beam, so that you can assume that if the simulation is successful, the
burning process will also be successful. Use this to avoid wasting any CDR media on
failed writes.

3) Write - This checkbox starts the actual physical burning process.

4) Image File Use this option to select .ISO, .CUE , or .NRG image files and burn to CD.

Note: Select the
Quick Copy option
to copy directly from
the source to the
destination drive. No
space will be used
on your hard drive.
(This will only be
selectable if you
have a
CDROM/DVDROM
to use as a source
drive, or if you have
more than one
recorder so you can
use one as the
source and one as
the destination drive.
Note: Be sure the
proper Source and
Destination drives
are selected.
Note: Select the number of
copies you wish to make.
Note: This feature only shows up if you do not use Quick Copy.
6. Nero Express then begins the burn process.

7. When the write has been completed successfully, you will see the below
window.

Click the OK button to continue.

Note: This is an indicator of
your temporary buffer level on
your Hard Drive, being used by
Nero during the burn.
Note: This is the
progress bar of the
actual write process
Note: This is an indicator of your
buffer level on the Recorder.

can choose too Burn the same project again; start a New project;
launch the Nero Cover Designer to create a label; or Exit the Nero
