Giordano STATEMENT Tee Design Contest Mechanics EXTENDED UNTIL DECEMBER 16, 2012!

Theme: World Without Strangers
Contest Period: SEPTEMBER 19, 2012 (WED) to NOVEMBER 11, 2012 (SUN) EXTENDED UNTIL
DECEMBER 16, 2012!

1. The Giordano Statement Tee Design Contest is open to all Filipino men and women age 13 and
above. Designs must revolve around the theme: World Without Strangers adapted to mens and
womens style. Submitted designs should be a Statement Tee but with a design of your own
expression. Body colour of the shirt may vary but the design itself should be limited to a maximum of
5 colors. The submitted designs must be original, not previously released or used by any other
entity.

2. Submitted designs must be done in electronic format either by Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (In
High Resolution) or Macromedia Freehand format. Formats such as the following will not be
accepted: JPEG, BMP and PNG.

3. Contestant must sign the waiver and submit it together with their entries. By signing the waiver,
the contestant agrees to the Terms and Conditions of the contest, governing rights and procedures.
Waivers can be obtained from all Giordano stores nationwide, and also available for download.

4. A contestant can submit only a maximum of one (1) design per gender (1 design for men and 1
design for women). Note: There might be a chance that we will get both of your designs or only one
of your submitted designs.

The contestant can choose to submit his or her entries in two ways:
a. Submit it at any Giordano store nationwide
b. . Mail entries to

Brgy. Tibagan, San Juan City

All entries must be placed in only one (1) short brown envelope:
1 letter sized coloured print out of the design with your name, design name/title of the design and
contact details.
1 CD containing a soft copy of the design in the allowed format.
1 Photocopy of a valid ID with signature, and birthday
Signed waiver

Incomplete entries shall be considered not valid. Deadline of submissions has been extended until
December 16, 2012 (Sun).

5. Criteria for Judging
Note: We will be choosing 8 semi-finalists for Mens design and 8 semi-finalists from the Womens
design for a total of 16 semi-finalists.


In Choosing the Top 16 semi-finalists:
Originality 50%
Creativity/Execution 25%
Relevance to theme 25%
Total 100%

In Choosing the Top 10 Winners from the 16 semi-finalists:

Originality 50%
Creativity/Execution 25%
Relevance to theme 25%

Total 100%

7. From all entries, Giordano Philippines and the participating judges shall narrow the selection to six
(6) semi-finalists and to the top ten (10) winners.

10 Major prizes for the top 10 winners of Php 15,000 Cash plus Php 5,000 worth of Gift Certificates
6 Consolation Prizes for the semi-finalists of Php 5,000 Cash plus Php 5,000 worth Gift Certificates

Top 10 winning designs will be featured in an upcoming Giordano collection. Winners will be
contacted as to when the winning designs will be launched in the stores. The top 10 winners will
also receive two (2) complimentary printed tee shirt (of their own design) from Giordano.

T.F.B Incorporated/Giordano Philippines shall shoulder the 20% Tax for prizes exceeding P
10,000.00. The gift certificates are transferrable but not convertible to cash.

8. Announcement of winners will be move to a later date due to the extension. The winner will be
announced through the Giordano Philippines Official Website and Official Facebook Page. Winners
shall be notified through registered mail, electronic mail and telephone/cellular phone.

9. Prizes not claimed within 60 days shall be forfeited. Redemption Center for GMA winners will be
at 170 F. Blumentritt corner Gen San Luis St. Brgy. Tibagan, San Juan City. For Provincial Winners,
redemption shall be arranged for depending on the nearest Giordano Store. Winners may claim their
prizes upon presentation of a valid ID and the registered mail notice.

10. Employees and their relatives up to second degree of affinity are disqualified from joining the
contest.
