I worked as a site engineer in shreeji Asia at Columbia Asia Hospital,
Whitefield. My life in shreeji Asia was like a test cricket played by India in overseas. I faced a lot of problems in the site like how Indian batsman suffered because of English fast bowlers. I have to coordinate with Project management clients and Columbia Asia Hospital authorities and continuously meeting them for material, Work, painting and other permits approval. I had a problem with the previous site engineer as he was not doing work properly and he thought I complained on him to the Mr. Pankaj Ahluwalia, Head of Shreeji Asia. Our fight became like Anderson and sir Jadejas fight in the recent Patudi trophy. I am not able to enjoy my work in the initial days as they gave me site supervisors work and hardly, it was two to three hours per day. After 3 weeks of my internship, I came to Manali mam and Arka sir about my internship problems. Their words inspired me a lot and I started working with more enthusiasm. It is like Indian team appointed Ravi shastri as new batting consultant, I dont know how much it will be useful for Indian team in Overseas but my consultants words used me a lot for producing better performance. My friends Ajay and Manish helped me so much in my internship and they helped in my work. I worked like Virat Kohli in the recent Patudi trophy and I pick up very well and manage to work like Bhuvneswar kumar. My manager started liking my work and he praised me that last 2 months you work very hard. Shreeji Asia had no proper hierarchy like our BCCI board. So, I can implement my own ideas and completed work successfully. I have lot of constraints while doing my work like lack of workers, poor administration, Manger who never turned up for clients meetings. I managed it successfully and leaned a lot of things during my 3 months internship process. Client Perception is the most unpredictable thing which every service provider should understand at the most. I understood how our client behaved in different points of time with different persons in different situations and context. I understood that fact that only getting a verbal confirmation on any discussion is not at all a confirmed decision. Until and unless they themselves sign on a written paper we cannot assume it to be confirmed. They tend to change their mind as soon as any new thought strike their mind. Every discussion of meetings or confirmations must be recorded as a reference proof in future. It might happen in future time that the client may back out on some discussions. So if we keep a record of our work with client on daily basis, which will be of great help. Among all the important skills that I learnt during my internship, language skill was one of the most important skills that I learnt during my internship. I observed one strange thing. It was that if we pay people in lump sum amounts of money and not maintain a proper communication language like we dont talk to them nicely or always talk to them with rough language, these people then tend to lose patience and do not enjoy their work anymore and hence that leads to higher attrition rate. On the other hand vice-versa happens if people are a bit less paid and treated with decent language tone. I am glad to that I got an opportunity to work with Shreeji Interiors, as this has given me depth knowledge as to how an interior designing firm works. I have also got enough idea as to what are the requirements that needs to be fulfilled while providing service to private entities, like in this case it the Columbia Asia Hospital. The phenomenal change they had brought to my thought process and the exponential learning in the domain of my interest. It has set a bar for every other project I undertake from this moment. I was taking away with me an unparalleled wealth of knowledge and intricacies of execution. In the end my internship was become like Indian batsman in Indian soil.
