NOTE from FRANOIS
Everybody is hitting the gym hard again now as the holidays are over and
school is in full swing.
Do you have your workouts planned? Are you still coming up with your game
plan?
When I look at the client success stories weve gotten over the years at
Riverland Sports Club West and all of our reviews and the hundreds of
emails / blog / Facebook / comments weve gotten and the hundreds more
in-person, off-the-record success stories I have to wonder, what are the keys
to success of our MOST SUCCESSFUL clients?
What are the common things people share that get RESULTS in a fitness
program (or life in general for that matter)?
At the end of the day, its not about the latest and greatest workout equipment
or gadget or diet plan. Its also not about superhuman effort.
Its whats in your HEAD that makes all the difference. Having a positive
attitude, setting goals, focus, taking consistent action these are by FAR the
most important things when it comes to reaching your ultimate fitness goals.
Keeping that in mind, I have for you: FRANS KEYS TO FITNESS SUCCESS
1 Positive Mindset
Wake up every day and expect something GOOD to happen. Let nothing get in
your way. Have ONLY expectations of success.
2 Vision and Goals
See yourself as a success. Write down your specific goals and look at them
every day. Focus on their accomplishment.
Setting specific goals to work towards is one of the first things I do with new
clients for a reason because it works! And, nine times out of ten, people are
NOT working towards a specific goal when they come in. Most of the time, they
havent even given it much thought. This in itself is a game changer!

3 Make a DECISION
I know for me personally, this was THE turning point that started my fitness
journey. Once you decide to make a change and become a better version of
yourself, exactly HOW youre going to do it becomes less important.
4 Take RESPONSIBILITY
YOU are the one thats got you to where you are. The actions youre currently
taking are resulting in the state youre in. This can be a tough pill to swallow.
HOWEVER the GREAT news is that once you come to this realization, it
also means that you have the power to CHANGE!
5 CHANGE
If what youre doing now isnt getting you the results youre after youre going
to have to start doing something different, or youll end up with the same thing.
Seems simple, but most people never take the time to think about this and
then they look back one, two, five years later, and realize things are EXACTLY
THE SAME.
6 Take ACTION
All the planning and goal setting in the world is awesome but NOTHING
happens until you take action. Consistent, regular ACTION towards your goals
is the ultimate key. A little action and forward progress towards your goals
each day add up to HUGE progress over time.
To sum up, its not about the latest and greatest workout gadget or diet plan.
Its also not about superhuman effort. Its whats in your HEAD that makes all
the difference. Having a positive attitude, setting goals, focus, taking consistent
action these are by FAR the most important things when it comes to
reaching your ultimate fitness goals.

FITNESS CLASSES
As you are surely aware Kateryna our Interne from the Ukraine whos here till
End of October, has enabled us to add more exciting classes to our already
packed timetable.
Kateryna teaches Supple strength, Functional Fitness (new). L.A.B(new) and
Sculpt and stretch (new).(see timetable for days and Times).

SPIN AND ABS With Jordan
- Mondays 18:30
This class is basically 30minutes of Spinning And 30 Minutes of abs great
way to kick off the week.
NOWOPENRIVERLAND PILATES STUDIO
We are delighted to be opening an Authentic Pilates Studio in Riverland,
Tamarin.
Pilates is a complete, innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise,
incorporating stretching and strengthening movements, using spring-driven
apparatus as well as a series of floor exercises. Pilates focuses on building
the body's core strength and improving posture. The method and original
equipment was developed by Joseph Pilates over the course of his lifetime.
The sessions are one hour on a one-to-one basis and by appointment only.

RIVERLAND BISTRO
We are pleased to announce that Club has decided to take over the
management of the restaurant.
As you have probably noticed it has barely been operational during the past 4
months.
We will be introducing a new menu with simple foods at very affordable
prices.
You will now be able to have a snack for the kids after school, a protein shake
before or after your workoutjust to mention a few new exciting additions.

Riverland Football Academy is proud and privileged to announce that we

Massive Well Done to Oscar Verneau, Mahe Hardy, Jordan Francois,
Matthew Vencatachelem and Shaun Toussaint for being Selected after
Nation wide trials and making the final 24 out of a total of 1,800 aspiring
footballers aged 10 to 14.
They trained at The FCBescola in Barcelona for a full week where
Barcelonas top Academys coaches put them through their paces for 5 hours
a day.
