Process Engineer

Reviewing Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Cause & effect charts,
Equipment Datasheets and Drawings. (Desalination unit (IDE Technology) Sea water filtration,
DM, Cooling Tower, Condensate System, Air Compressors & Dryers, ASUs (Cryogenic
distillation), spent caustic, Wet air oxidation, etc.)
Experience of Process plant Simulation tools like ASPEN Plus, HTRI, Pipenet etc.
Experience in development of Process design, PFDs, P & IDs, Heat & Mass balance.
Experience in HAZOP reviews of new facilities.

Developed the Steam Model, N2-Air Model, Power Model & Water Model on KBC Sigma fine to
determine overall Mass Balance on the refinery
Worked with 15-20 peoples before establishing the feed-proof data
Models improved measurement performance by detecting gross errors in measuring the meters
and tank ATG
Validated entire Refinery Design/lines and P&Ids to duplicate the Refinery design on the models
Worked with the team of Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineers for identification and
rectification of invalid flows and correcting the incorrect Venturi, Orifice, mass-flow, Custody transfer
meters. Model further used for accounting to calculate unit wise & overall GRM of the refinery.

Involved in commissioning of new project for transfer of Ortho xylene to Jetty.
