18. Start of Classes
a. Morning (0800 hours to 1330 hours) 03-02-2014
b. Evening (1530 hours to 1900 hours) 03-02-2014
19. Admission to all Masters courses will be confirmed on provision of original Bachelors degree result and Character
Certificate from the institution last attended. Migration Certificate (in original) for Masters Courses will also be
required for registration within a period of 30 days after admission. Final admission is subject to the payment of
prescribed fee by the selected candidates in advance for the whole semester immediately after selection as per schedule
given above.
20. Hostel Admission. Very limited hostel facilities are available at Main Campus, Islamabad for Male & Female students
coming from far flung areas and selected for admission in minimum one year programme. Such students shall collect
hostel application form from the office of Director Students Affairs (Room # 10, New Jinnah Block), fill the forms and
submit the same in Room # 10, Jinnah Block. Interview for hostel accommodation will be held on 22 January 2014.
21. Transport facility on specific routes in Rawalpindi / Islamabad is available on payment.
22. STUDENTS MUST BRING ALONG ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES / DEGREES ETC AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW.
WITHOUT ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS, INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED.
23. To appear in the end-term / final examination attendance of 75% lectures is mandatory for BETE and 70% for other
programs.
24. Cost of admission form is Rs.800/- by hand & Rs.1000/- by post through bank draft. Application form and Undertaking
form can be downloaded through NUML website (www.numl.edu.pk) (Cost of downloaded form is Rs.1,000/- Payment
will be made in shape of Bank Draft) Print out of Application form and Undertaking alongwith paid Bank Draft in
original, duly completed in all respects together with Student ID Card Form, all educational documents, 02 passport size
pictures, copy of CNIC, Domicile and Character Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer should reach concerned campus
before last date.
25. Dues once deposited will not be refunded, either on leaving the University OR on change of session / discipline.
26. Change of shift from Evening to Morning is not allowed.
27. Last date for submission of Admission forms complete in all respects is 05 Dec 2013 (by post) & 12 Dec 2013
(by hand). Incomplete application forms without requisite documents will not be entertained. Documents must be
attested by Gazetted Officer.
28. To collect the Admit Card from the Academics Branch is the responsibility of the applicant. No one will be
allowed to appear in the University admission test & interview without Admit Card.
29. Students who have appeared in their Board / University examinations must attach with the application form, a
letter of recommendation from the Head of the Institution last attended regarding passing the examination with at
least 50% marks and provide a copy of Roll No. slip of the Examination in which they have appeared.
30. Scholarship will be awarded to meritorious students subject to conditions. Needs based scholarship is also available for
deserving candidates.
31. It is the responsibility of candidates to check the dates of final interview and their final selection for admission
from the Academics Branch / Notice Boards of University / NUML website. No individual intimation will be
sent by the University.
32. All Lists will be displayed at 1800 hrs on the scheduled dates. The same will also be posted on NUML website.
