I. Source package download and tool installation (MSI recommends Windows 7 for
firmware tool installation)
1. Download firmware package from MSI Primo 73, Primo 81 and Primo 91 page.

2. Extract file PhoenixSuit1.0.6.zip and find PhoenixSuit_EN.

3. Execute PhoenixSuit_EN and press Next button.

4. Select installation folder and press Next.

5. Confirm installation and click the Next

6. Use Device Driver Installation Wizard and click Next to continute.

7. Press Install the driver software anyway in Windows Security.


8. Click Finish to end the installation.

9. Click Close to exit the installer.

II. Firmware Recovery
1. Execute PhoenixSuit as below.

2. Move to Firmware tab and use Image button to select XXXX.img.

3. Long press the power key at least 10 seconds to power off the device.
4. Release power key after the system shut down (For now, Do NOT connect to
PC)
5. Press Volume + and do NOT release it.
6. Keep pressing Volume + button and connect to PC through USB2.0.
7. Keep pressing Volume + button and push 5 times on power key. ( Please make
sure Volume + and power are pressed together when you push the fifth time on
power key)
8. Release all key which are pressed and the device should start the auto upgrade
process. (If the upgrading didnt start, please repeate the steps 3~7)

9. Does mandatory format? Please select Yes.

10. Are you sure to force format? Please select Yes.

11. Firmware update is starting.

12. Upgrade firmware succeed. Click the OK to end process.

Disconnect the PC and tablet first. And we can restart our system.
