testing organization equipped to perform such services, stating that the items have been tested and conform to the requirements and testing methods of the specified agency. 1. Certification shall be submitted attesting to the fact that the specified performance criteria are met by items of equipment. 2. Work shall be guaranteed to be free from leaks or defects. Any defective equipment, materials, or workmanship, including damage to the work provided under other divisions of this contract resulting from same, shall be replaced or repaired at no extra cost to the Owner for the duration of the stipulated guarantee periods. 3. Unless specifically indicated otherwise, the duration of the guarantee period shall be one (1) year following the date of final acceptance by the Owner. Owner acceptance will begin with actual occupancy of the areas served by this equipment. Temporary operation of the equipment for temporary conditioning, testing, etc., prior to occupancy will not be considered part of the warranty period. 1.9 PRODUCT WARRANTIES A. Warranties specified in other Sections shall be in addition to, and run concurrent with, other warranties required by the Contract Documents. Manufacturer's disclaimers and limitations on product warranties do not relieve Contractor of obligations under requirements of the Contract Documents. 1. Manufacturer's Warranty: Preprinted written warranty published by individual manufacturer for a particular product and specifically endorsed by manufacturer to Owner. 2. Special Warranty: Written warranty required by or incorporated into the Contract Documents, either to extend time limit provided by manufacturer's warranty or to provide more rights for Owner. B. Special Warranties: Prepare a written document that contains appropriate terms and identification, ready for execution. Submit a draft for approval before final execution. 1. Manufacturer's Standard Form: Modified to include Project specific information and properly executed. 2. Specified Form: When specified forms are included with the Specifications, prepare a written document using appropriate form properly executed. C. Submittal Time: Comply with requirements in Division 1 Section "Closeout Procedures." 1.10 FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTS A. Factory acceptance test shall be witnessed by the Consultants Engineer, Client Representative, Project Managers Representative and Contractors Representative. The Contractor shall provide to and for Business Class air passage to the place of test, which shall include 5 Stars accommodations for the testing period. Test Report shall be submitted before the shipment of the products. The test shall be carried out by approved laboratories. The independent lab details and method statement for testing shall be submitted for approval
