And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15
Praying that will strengthen our relatonship with our pastor:
Lord, teach me the true value of having a pastor in my life. In- crease my loyalty to Pastor Bertram. Give me wisdom to under- stand that he is the man of God, with purpose, for this city; ena- ble me to bind my hands and heart to that same purpose. Lord, as I put him in your hands, help me to trust you to lead and in- struct him for the good of the church and the city. Connect my heart and spirit to Pastor Bertram, and help me to keep him contnually lifed up in prayer. -Sis. Mary Ann Jones

Faith. It has perfect vision and can read every leter on the chart of the supernatural. (Hebrews 11:1-3) Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye re- ceive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:24) Fastng, cou- pled with prayer, is a powerful weapon (Daniel 9:3, Mark 9:29; Acts 2:42). It brings humility to the human nature and propagates greater sensitvity to the spiritual realm. It is an act of surrender and self-denial of the fesh in exchange for a greater revelaton of Jesus Christ. * The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, and fastng sharpens that sword, making it more efectve. Fastng complements prayer. It brings powerful transformaton. It ushers personal/global revival and transcends to those around us. Conse- craton brings revelaton, and revelaton brings demonstraton! * Isaiah 58:6-14 relays the purpose for fastng: looses the bands of wickedness; untes heavy burdens; frees the oppressed; breaks every yoke; produces compassion for the needy; provides an en- trance to the presence of God; hastens an answer from God; brightens our path; repairs breaches and gaps; grants spiritual understanding; brings deliverance and victory; actvates Godly authority; and more. Victory in Spiritual Warfare: Earth-Moving Prayer: Peter said But the end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer I Peter 4:7. Paul said ...we were troubled on every side; without were fghtngs, within were fears II Corinthians 7:5. But through prayer, we can have revival and restoraton, with vic- tory on every side! God said And I will shake all natons, and the desire of all natons shall come: and I will fll this house with glo- ry...The glory of this later house shall be greater than of the for- mer (Haggai 2:7-9) Truly, across the globe to the four corners of the earth, we can have ultmate victory in Spiritual Warfare: Earth-Moving Prayer! Surely, Satan, your kingdom is coming down! Contnued from last month.
Tapping into the spirit-world ...Binding and Loosing: To prevail against the gates of Hell, we must use the keys to the kingdom, which includes binding and loosing. In Mathew 16:18-19, Jesus said And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heav- en: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Keys are used to lock (bind) and unlock (loose). Speaking (verbalizing) words in the Spirit and the Word of God in prayer is a key we must use. Afer we frst bind the strong man, we can then spoil his house. Learn to bind any negatve or evil spirit and to loose a good or positve spirit: Binding is to prohibit, forbid or confne. Losing is to permit, allow or sancton. Bind spirit of hate, fear, loose spirit of love, power. (Mark 12:30-31, II Timothy 1:7) Bind spirit of infrmity, loose spirit of healing. (Isaiah 53:5) Bind spirit of error, loose spirit of truth. (I John 4:6) Bind spirit of bondage, loose spirit of liberty. (II Corinthians 3:17) Bind spirit of unbelief, loose spirit of belief, faith. (Mathew 17:20) When we bind and loose in the name of Jesus during intercession, we are discharging the Word (Rhema) that God has spo- ken to use to accomplish what He has purposed it to do. Job 22:28 says, Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. Isaiah 55:11 says, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. God speaks to us; we speak in intercessory prayer upon the earth! Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the natons and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy and to throw down, to build, and to plant. (Jeremiah 1:9-10) Strongholds: A stronghold is a pre-supposed unchangea- ble stance that is like a fortfed place. It is the throne of principalites that reign over things, people or places. Neg- atve strongholds may represent enttes like false religion, traditon, fear, unbelief, witchcraf, crime, poverty, etc. Strongholds must be torn down and plucked up and de- stroyed from the roots. The prayer of faith can uproot strongholds. Apply binding/loosening prayers as well. ...For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong- holds (II Corinthians 10:3-5) Prayer has power to turn people from Satans power to Gods power. Acts 26:18 says, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto the power of God We exercise Apostolic authority when we speak the name of JESUS in prayer which helps to break the chains of darkness/destroy the yoke of the enemy, de- featng the gates of Hell/setng the captves free. Prayers are descriptve of odors stored in golden vials that travel into eternity to be poured out at Gods appointed tme, even beyond mortality. The potency of these is so power- ful that they never die, but only get answered at an oppor- tune tme. An Angel ofered incense with the prayers of all the saints upon the altar up unto God and then he flled it with altar fre and cast it into the earth; and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earth- quake. Revelaton 8:3-5. The Prayer of Faith with Fastng: It is important to visualize
