------------------------------------------------------------------------------I. Introduction
This FAQ is on the whereabouts of all the Legendary Weapons on Fable: TLC.
It will contain spoilers, so read at your own risk.
Fable The Lost Chapters is an update of the original Fable game on XBOX.
It contains more quests, more items, and more Legendary Weapons, of course.
This guide will cover the Legendary Weapons from the original Fable game as
well as the ones added for The Lost Chapters.
If you are wondering, this game DOES NOT require the original Fable to play,
and saves from the first game are not carried over.

-Katanas (Light)
-Cleavers (Light)
-Axes (Light)
-Greataxes (Heavy)
-Maces (Light)
-Greatmaces (Heavy)
-Pickhammers (Light)
-Greathammers (Heavy)
The ranged ones are:
-Longbows (Fast)
-Crossbows (Slow)
b. Legendary Weapons Guide
-------------------------(I will cover the Legendary Weapons from the original Fable first)
------------------------The Harbinger [Longsword]
------------------------=Damage: 198=
=Augmentations: Sharpening, Piercing=
To get this legendary sword, you must go to the Temple of Avo in Witchwood.
You will find some people crowded around a sword stuck in the rock, trying to
pull it out. Wait until you get a chance, and walk up to it. Press A and you
will try to pull the sword out... and fail. At this point, the game will
remember your stats. You must improve your Physique by 5, your Health by 2, and
your Toughness by 3, or you can just max them all out (to 7). Then go back to
the Temple and pull the sword out.
--------------------------------The Solus Greatsword [Greatsword]
--------------------------------=Damage: 314=
=Augmentations: Flame, Sharpening, *Free Slot*=
This is for sale in the shop at Bowerstone North, you can get there after you
beat the Arena. Don't be fooled! Just because you are buying it, doesn't mean
it isn't good. It's very powerful, but its a heavy weapon, so it isn't that
fast. It's expensive, but to make some money, you don't even need to go

anywhere! Buy all the Diamonds in stock, and then sell them back. You will make
a profit. Repeat this a few times and you'll have enough money to buy it.
------------------------The Katana Hiryu [Katana]
------------------------=Damage: 215=
=Augmentations: Sharpening, Flame=
For this you need to either marry Lady Grey or expose her. I would advise
you to marry her, or you will lose out on a silver key, and two Legendary Weps!
To marry her, go to Bowerstone North
ask you to get her a gift. Go to the
give it to her. Now you will have to
and buy the house there. Run back to
lost her necklace. Speak to everyone
it is in Oakvale. Teleport there and

after the Arena and speak to her. She will

shop nearby and buy a black rose, then
buy a house, so go to Bowerstone South
Lady Grey and she will tell you she has
in Bowerstone North, and you will find out
go to the Memorial Garden (Near the merc).

You will see two people there. Hide behind them and they will start talking.
They will say that the necklace is buried on the beach. Make your way to the
south-west beach in Oakvale and dig inbetween the two boats. If you dont have a
spade you can buy one in town. Make your way back to Bowerstone North and talk
to Lady Grey again. She will ask you to go and fight Thunder. Make your way to
Bowerstone Prison and talk to Thunder. When you go to Headman's Hill he will
fight you. Beating him is quite simple, you can use your bow + slow time spell
while he attacks. Look out for the lightning, it has a wide range and is likely
to hit you, so run to the chest on your left.
Once you get his health down you will both fall off the edge of the nearby
cliff. Continue to fight Thunder and he will run into the cave. Finish him off
inside, then talk to the Demon Door and he will let you out. Fish nearby the
Door for that Silver Key I told you about earlier.
Talk to Lady Grey and she will ask you to marry her. Say yes! You will receive
some gold and will have access to Bowerstone Manor. In her room is a Silver Key
chest (15 keys required) with the Katana in.
-----------------------------The Cutlass Bluetane [Cleaver]
-----------------------------=Damage: 165=
=Augmentations: Lightning=
To get this weapon, teleport to the Greatwood Gate, and go to Greatwood Caves.
Make sure you have the Physical Shield spell, mana potions and a relatively
long Magic Bar. This weapon is behind the Demon Door, and he asks you to have a
bigger combat multiplier (14 is the minimum).
Go into Hobbe Caves and turn on your shield. Start attacking all the hobbes as
quickly as possible! Once you leave an area, your combat multiplier gets
halved. Get your multiplier up to about 20 and leave the caves, and then start
attacking the troll/hobbes outside! You will have at least 14. Quickly talk to
the door and go inside. Congrats! You've got the Cutlass Bluetane.
------------------------------------------------------Kodan882 has submitted another way to get the Bluetane.
-------------------------------------------------------

"Hello.
I thought of a new, easier way to get the Cutlass Bluetane cleaver.
What you have in your FAQ, it works, but is long...
This is a simpler way to get it...
What you need is 3 things.
1: Any level Heal spell.
2: Any mercenary.
3: A weak bow.
Optional: Will potions.
Now what you do is clear the main area in front of the Demon Door of all the
Hobbes, make sure your mercenary survives. Start hitting him with your bow
until he gets low on life, and then heal him with your healing spell.
(Use a Will Potion if your mana gets low.) Keep repeating until your up to
level 14 combat multiplier and the Demon Door opens. Voila, quick and easy way
to open the door.
Love the FAQ.
-Kodan"
------------------Ronok the Axe [Axe]
------------------=Damage: 165=
=Augmentations: Sharpening, Silver=
To get this, you need to marry Lady Grey, so just follow my guide up there! Go
to the Grey House and talk to the Demon Door, he will let you in. You will find
Ronok the Axe there.
-----------------------------The Murren Greataxe [Greataxe]
-----------------------------=Damage: 240=
=Augmentations: Sharpening=
Go to Hook Coast, and make your way to the lighthouse. Bash the door down and
go inside. Go up the stairs and there is a silver key chest (15 keys). Open it
and receive the Murren Greataxe.
---------------------------The Dollmaster's Mace [Mace]
---------------------------=Damage: 135=
=Augmentations: Mana=
You will need the following to complete this quest: Bright Plate Suit, found
at the Arena as a whole, or bought from Knothole Glade and travelling salesmen
in parts. You can also get the suit at Snowspire, late in the game. You will
also need a Bandit suit, which you already have, and a Dark Will User's suit.

To get that, go to the Darkwood Marhes Demon Door and defeat his army of
hobbes. With them all, go to the Abandoned Road (Near Twinblade's Camp) and
wear the clothes in order. First the Bright Plate, then Dark Will User, then
Bandit. Talk to the door each time you wear one, and he will let you in.
You will find the Dollmaster's Mace inside.
-----------------------The Sentinus [Greatmace]
-----------------------=Damage: 255=
=Augmentations: Silver, Piercing=
To get the Sentinus, you must donate money to the Temple of Avo. The more good
you are, the more gold you will have to donate. If you use the diamond trick
mentioned in the Lady Grey guide, you should soon have lots. Donate a large
sum of gold in one go to get the Sentinus.
-------------------------------Wellow's Pickhammer [Pickhammer]
-------------------------------=Damage: 120=
=Augmentations: Piercing (x2)=
Go to Greatwood Gorge. You must perform an act of evil in the Demon Door's
sight. All you need to do is get 10 Crunchy Chicks from Twinblade's Camp and
eat them in front of the door. Walk inside for the weapon.
-----------------------------------The Murren Greathammer [Greathammer]
-----------------------------------=Damage: 240=
=Augmentations: Piercing=
You will need 20 silver keys for this weapon. Go to the Guild and you will find
the chest outside.
-------------------------Sword of Aeons [Longsword]
-------------------------=Damage: 230=
=Augmentations: Health, Mana, Experience=
When you fight Jack of Blades for the first time in the Chamber of Fate, you
will have the option to kill your sister afterwards. Do so, and you will
receive the sword. NOTE: This sword's strength has been dramatically reduced
in The Lost Chapters. If you spare your sister, you will get a copy of this
sword that is exactly the same, but looks different. (Avo's Tear)
--------------------Skorm's Bow [Longbow]
--------------------=Damage: 264=
=Augmentations: Lightning, Sharpening=
Skorm's Bow is the strongest ranged weapon in the game, and is a must-have! If

you have a good character, you don't need to do much. Get the merc from Oakvale
to follow you to the Chapel of Skorm, and sacrifice him at MIDNIGHT EXACTLY
when he takes his pay. Skip the cutscenes. Note: This may or may not work!
Getting the bow depends on luck sometimes. If you are evil, you will have a
hard time getting this bow. Donate to the Temple of Avo and get a lot of good
points. This will make it easier. Keep trying different ways. Dont give up.
Sacrificing the two GOOD mercs (Oakvale and Temple of Avo) are the best ways
to get the bow. Save before trying, so you can reload the save and try again.
--------------------------Arken's Crossbow [Crossbow]
--------------------------=Damage: 220=
=Augmentations: Silver, Flame, Piercing=
Prefer Crossbows, or cant be bothered to get Skorm's Bow? This is the weapon
for you. It is in a 15 key silver chest in Darkwood Marshes.
-----------------The Frying Pan [?]
-----------------=Damage: 100=
=Augmentations: *4 free slots*=
To get the Frying Pan weapon you must find ALL the treasure clues. If you get
the weapon before the clues, it will be USELESS.
Treasure clue 5: This is in Orchard Farm, in the left side area. Open the chest
to find the clue.
Treasure clue 2: Finish the "Lost Trader" quest*
Treasure clue 4: Complete the Knothole Glade archery competition
Treasure clue 6: Find at Windmill Hill
Treasure clue 1: Complete the "Bounty Hunt" quest*
*These quests you will find at the Heroes Guild throughout the game
To get the last clue, you need to do the Assasin Attacks quest. After doing the
"White Balverine" and "Break the siege" quests you will be told by the
Guildmaster that assassins are after you. You will find them at Knothole Glade,
Witchwood Cullis Gate (Focus Site, big rock coming out of the ground), Windmill
Hill, the Prison Path, and Hook Coast. Kill them all, and the last one you kill
will drop the Treasure Clue 3.
Now go to Orchard Farm, walk between the barn and the two haystacks and dig.
You will get the Frying Pan. If the Guildmaster says "Well done, you found the
clues, and got the treasure." You have done it right.
=The Lost Chapters exclusive legendary weapons=
---------------------Avo's Tear [Longsword]
---------------------=Damage: 230=

=Augmentations: Health, Mana, Experience=

To get Avo's Tear you must throw away the Sword of Aeons and spare your sister.
When the game continues afterwards, you will do the Fire Heart quest. After
completing that, the Guildmaster and Briar Rose will talk about a legendary
sword hidden in the guild. Go to Maze's room, read the book on the right shelf
and you will find his notes. Go to the empty grave outside and read the
inscription. You will get the sword! Both the SoA and Avo's Tear ARE THE SAME.
The only difference is the appearance. If you have one sword you cannot have
the other.
----------------------The Avenger [Longsword]
----------------------=Damage: 180=
=Augmentations: Lightning, Flame=
Believe me when I say The Avenger is bad. You will need ALL 30 SILVER KEYS (!)
to get this sword, the chest is in The Lost Bay. It does a measly 180 damage.
---------------Orkon's Club [?]
---------------=Damage: 140=
=Augmentations: None=
This weapon belonged to a midget and you can see why. It's smaller than the
stick! It does 140 damage. You don't have to do anything hard to get it,
though. You will find it in a normal chest in Archon's Shrine. Enjoy.
------------------------The Bereaver [Greatsword]
------------------------=Damage: 285=
=Augmentations: Health, *2 free slots*=
It's basically the Blade used by Bandit Bosses, with a different paint job.
Go to the Necropolis Demon Door and hand over ALL your silver keys. No matter
how many you have, he will take them. YOU CAN NEVER GET THE KEYS BACK once you
give them away! So open all the remaining chests before. The game will give
you two warnings, so, if you mess up, you only have yourself to blame.
