It appears that a line of data in the firmware varies on certain drives (this is the calibration data
referred to in the .nfo of slim iXtreme firmware release). If you used Jungleflasher 1.85 to slimkey
your drive and obtain your dummy (from an untouched stock PCB) then this line has been copied
over already and yours maybe a different problem.
If however, you had previously flashed your drive with 1.1 (9504 users) unless you kept an OFW
previous to flash. Your original data is now lost. All may not be lost however. Read on
So to ensure the original data is obtained
You need
A. Access to your original, un-flashed PCB
if you still have your original PCB and its intact please ensure the dummy you use for
flashing was obtained using Jungleflasher 1.85 then re-flash using appropriate method in
Jungleflasher tutorial.
B. a OFW dump from your 9504 before any flashing took place
if you still have your original PCB and its intact please ensure the dummy you use for flashing was
obtained using Jungleflasher 1.85 then re-flash using appropriate method in Jungleflasher tutorial.
If you have a 9504 OFW pre any flashing heres what to try
Download a hex editor (or use one you have already), I used HxD (free and easy to use)
Open your OFW
Navigate to 1FF80
Now switch back to your OFW and highlight and copy the line
Now switch back to your CFW and highlight the same line, then write-paste the line in
Switch back to Jungleflasher and load to target the file you just edited
Now follow the normal unlock/write procedure for you particular drive setup
Ignoring the message that the target has not been spoofed!
IF you do not have the OFW or ACCESS to the orig PCB then try editing in the values mentioned
earlier! Maybe one will work!
