without checking with me first, as it generally makes my mailbox
overflow when I am unprepared for it.

Please only send info on bands with FEMALE VOCALISTS, who sing
LEAD vocals, or sing dual vocals with a male, as long as the female
sings on 30% on the songs (backup vocals do NOT count). When you
send me info about your band please include members' names, a
booking phone number, and a fan mail address - a lot of letters to
bands are getting lost at the band's record label. Photos look
shitty because of the xeroxed format of this zine, but if you still
want to send them, I'll put them in.

I need help!!!! Please send photos and updates on your favorite

bands, with credit information as to who took the photo and when.
I can NOT pay for photos so don't ask, just send it in as a labor
of love. If you're sending me a photo of YOUR band, please keep in
mind that the big huge ones really won't have a good shot of making
it into the zine; unless they are used on the cover, they are
pretty much worthless because of their huge size. I need teeny tiny
ones that I can incorporate around the text.

Please send me any corrections you might find that need to be made
to the list. I make lots of goofs so don't hesitate to correct me,
please! If you're in a band and I've misspelled your name, write
and cuss me out and correct it; and if I've listed your home phone
number and address and it's causing you a problem (I generally try
to check first but who knows) let me know IMMEDIATELY so I can
strip it out of any further printings. Thanks to all the many
people who sent in corrections and updates since the last issue!

I'm considering including a short interview with a girl band in

every issue, to make this more zineish and less Listish. But I'm a
HORRID interviewer! So check with me if you want to interview
somebody when they come into your area, I'd love to start including
stuff like that.

Looking for a girl to be in your band? Starting next issue I'll

offer an experimental FREE classified section for girls and/or
bands seeking other girl members. Your ad can be up to 50 words.
Please include your phone number and address (PO Box is preferable,
and you should probably have an answering machine!!) and make sure
to CLEARLY state what position you are seeking in a potential
candidate (i.e. bassist, vocalist, vocalist/drummer, etc.) Don't
forget to list your musical influences, including boy and girl
bands!
