But ye are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the city

of the living Elohiym…

We dwell in His kingdom now, not under the power of Satan, but living by His
(Elohiym’s) rules. Under the rule of His dear son: The sceptre of his kingdom is a
sceptre of righteousness. (“Thy throne, O Elohiym, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre
of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre.” Psalm 45:6)

Hebrews 12:18-21 “For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and
that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, And the sound
of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which [voice] they that heard intreated that the
word should not be spoken to them any more: (For they could not endure that which
was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned,
or thrust through with a dart: And so terrible was the sight, [that] Moses said, I
exceedingly fear and quake:)”
We haven’t come into the Old Covenant. (“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and
unto the city of the living Elohiym, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable
company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are
written in heaven, and to Elohiym the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made
perfect, And to Yeshua the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.” Hebrews 12:22-24)
(see the benefits.) Heavenly Jerusalem. When we come into His body, His angels
become our helpers.
(“And to Yeshua the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.” vs 24) the New covenant. – We can
have our sins forgiven and can be delivered from things they couldn’t be delivered
from under the Old Covenant (freedom from sin and death). (Romans 8)

“To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,
and to Elohiym the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,” Hebrews
12:23 – Being among saints who seek to live righteously. His church is like a
sanctuary from the wind, a solace for our souls, a place where we can grow. Things
that His people have that the world cannot come close to. Darkness does not have a
grip on us – we can have the power now to walk in the light, to do good, (“But ye
[are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that
ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvellous light: Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of
Elohiym: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” 1 Peter
2:9,10) unlike under the Old Covenant.

1 Corinthians 10:13,14 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common
to man: but Elohiym [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye
are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be
able to bear [it]. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”
(Because Elohiym is on our side.)
“Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.” (vs 14) We could say, Flee from
all sin. (Idolatry was a big thing in Corinth. It was all around them. They
incorporated fornication into their worship.) Elohiym has promised to keep us from
temptation to great. Stand on this promise.

1 Corinthians 10:15-17 “I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of
blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Mashiyach? The
bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Mashiyach? For we
[being] many are one bread, [and] one body: for we are all partakers of that one
bread.”
Communion: partake of, participate in, have close fellowship with. We are to have
communion with the body of ha Mashiyach. (“ But if we walk in the light, as he is in
the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua ha
Mashiyach his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7)
(Things we enter into when we enter into His body.)

Romans 11:17 “And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild
olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and
fatness of the olive tree;”
Partaking of the root and the fatness of the olive tree – His promises to His people
(not to the world/except if they repent.) – life in the Spirit.

Acts 26:18 “To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and
[from] the power of Satan unto Elohiym, that they may receive forgiveness of sins,
and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
We enter into His body through His means. (repentance, and being filled with His
Spirit) Then we can partake of forgiveness of sins.
“inheritance” – There is something we are going to inherit.

1 Peter 1:3,4 “Blessed [be] the God and Father of Mashiyach Yeshua Adoneynu,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by
the resurrection of Yeshua ha Mashiyach from the dead, To an inheritance
incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,”
