ACTIVITY 1 SEQUENCING
Number the paragraphs in a correct sequence according to the pictures to form an interesting
story.
The old lady was pleased with Amir. She was thankful to Amir for the great
help. She praised him for his good deed too. Amir was proud and went home
happily on that day.
One sunny afternoon, while Amir was returning home from school, he
saw an old lady trying to cross a busy street. As it was a peak hour, there was a lot
of traffic jam. Many vehicles were moving on both sides of the street. She became
helpless.
Amir is a Year- Six boy who lives in a residential area in a big town. He is
known to be a kind- hearted and helpful boy in his neighbourhood. He usually
walks to school as his house is just a stones throw away from his school.
Amir felt pity for her. It was unsafe for the old lady to cross the street herself.
He decided to give a helping hand. He quickly walked towards the old lady and
offered help. The old lady was relieved as there was someone who was willing to
help her.
