Why You Will Love This Tour

The difference between our annual Canadians in Italy

Summer Tour Programme and the rest of our
Battlefield Programmes is in the destination we are
visiting.
Italy may have a long and perilous history when it
comes to their experiences through the Second World
War, but their preserved battlefields, cemeteries, and
memorials and monuments are less than travelled,
compared to the iconic views, flourishing culture, and
mouth watering traditional dishes Italy boasts at its
forefront.
This tour was created to provide you with the best of
both worlds: the thrilling history, and sobering
landmarks and battlefields that dot the landscape,
while also focusing on the sights and sounds of Italy,
making this tour not just a tour for the military
enthusiast expanding their insights, but a true
authentic, Italian holiday too. Find yourself dining at
favourite local restaurants, meandering through
mountain scenes, embracing beautiful beaches,
shopping at your own pace, and much more in the
ancient and historic towns along the way, taking the
time to truly enjoy the Italian country side and way of
life.
This tour runs at a slower pace, with flexibility and
relaxation in mind. Indulge in a true and classic Italian
summer as you explore the Battlefields with us and the
incredible history that is paired with it.
