Pastor Richard Kauenhofen - 306-792-2190 Christmas 2014 Pastor Mike Anderson - 306-792-2290 Sunday Schedule: Sunday School @ 9:45am Morning Worship Service @ 10:50 am “The Grace of Christmas” ~ that is the theme of the Sunday morning messages that will be presented at Springside Baptist Church during the season of Advent, GRACE simply means “unmerited favour.” It is something one receives even though he or she doesn’t deserve it. CHRISTMAS is the term we use to describe the celebration of the hhrist child. The one named Jesus, He came as a human infant sent from God as the Saviour for all people, What an amazing thought to think that God came in the form of His human son to dwell among the people of this earth, The prophet Isaiah is quoted in the New Testament book of Matthew where it says: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” ~ which means, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23) During this time of the year we can often be distracted by all the activity of this busy season. I want to encourage you to take some time every day to ponder the thought of the “grace of Christmas.” God's gift to us in the person of His Son, Jesus, really is the greatest gift anyone could ever receive. Jesus came to take upon Himself the penalty for the sin of every person. He came to be your Saviour and mine. God desires to lavish upon each one His unmerited favour. Through Jesus we can know God and experience the wonder of His never-endii love. Jesus is the One, whom Christmas is all about. Linvite you to receive the “grace of Christmas” by receiving Jesus as Saviour and Lord, Let a personal relationship with Him complete you and your celebration this year, Merry Christmas!
