The hip is the largest joint in the body and the pelvis is the junction between the spine and the hip joints
on either side. The problems of hip & pelvis that are treated by the institute are:

Development Dysplasia / Congenital Dislocation Hip joint slips out of its normal position in a
newborn. Diagnosed early, it can be cured completely with or without surgery.
Septic Arthritis of Infancy Growing children may develop infection in the hip joint.

Proximal Femur This usually requires surgery

Total Hip Replacement

One of the path breaking medical innovations, it has evolved to give near perfect results. Total joint
replacement involves surgery to replace the ends of both bones in a damaged joint to create new joint
surfaces.

Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery
Surgeons can diagnose and treat many types of bone and joint problems using minimally invasive
techniques (Arthoscopy). Most minimally invasive orthopedic procedures are done with the use of an
arthroscope, a special instrument designed for viewing and treating problems inside a joint.
The arthroscope is fitted with a miniature camera high definition digital Aida2 and specialized lighting
system that enables the structures inside the joint to be viewed on a monitor. The surgeon can attach
special tools to the end of the arthroscope to shave, cut, or remove tissue or bone that are causing
problems. Arthroscopic surgery is a treatment option for knee replacement surgery, orthopedic knee
replacement, osteoarthritis knee replacement, and total knee replacement.
Keyhole arthroscopic procedures like complete arthroscopic ACL reconstructions, meniscal repairs, and
cartilage repairs are performed at the Institute. A complete post-operative rehabilitation protocol is
provided for the enhanced recovery of the patient designed by a team headed by a physiatrist.
In the shoulder, laberal tears, dislocations, impingement syndrome, are treated through arthroscopy of
