It is with great pleasure that I write to recommend Steven Pham. I have known Steven since September, 2012
when he became a student in my technology class and a valuable member of Foshays Technology Academy.
He speaks his mind, is naturally curious, and proven to be reliable. Steven works hard to be responsible, a
problem solver, and an effective communicator.
Steven has also worked hard to improve his technological literacy. During his time in the Tech Academy
Steven has created original websites using online Content Management Systems and Dreamweaver CS5, has
taught himself advanced skills using Photoshop and Scratch, and made mobile apps for Android Tablets. You

Steven demonstrates that he is able to manage his time wisely and achieve all of his academic
responsibilities, and still have time for extracurricular activities. An example of this is being on the basketball
team, a youTHINK ambassador, a member of the NAI Theater Workshop, and California Cadet Corps Captain.
He has had the opportunity to attend a conference for NSLC at the University of Maryland on a scholarship.
Steven is someone I highly recommend. He has great potential and I look forward to seeing where his goals
and aspirations take him.
During the summer going into his senior year, Steven was selected from a wide applicant pool for an
internship with Fullscreen, a media company powering the creation and sharing of video with the connected
generation. At his internship, he learned and shadowed the different departments at Fullscreen such as the
Production and Financial Departments. Here he was exposed to the diverse roles of working with the
different members at the company.
