Hand chain hoist model VS

Capacities 500 - 20.000 kg
The robust, all-steel construction has roller or ball
bearings fitted to all rotating components.
This reduces friction and increases efficiency. The
hoist is epoxy resin coated as standard.

Features
The hand chain wheel cover with special slots
and the optimal design of the hand chain wheel
prevent the hand chain from blocking and
derailing.
Hardened load chain sheave with four precision
machined pockets.
Two guide rollers and one chain stripper ensure
accurate alignment of the load chain over the
load sheave.
All brake components are manufactured from
high quality materials and are zinc plated and
chromalized for added corrosion protection.
Model VS
with optional chain
container

Optional
All models from 1000 kg can be optionally
equipped with an overload prevention device in
the form of a slip clutch which is factory preset to
approx. 25 % 15 % overload.
This device can be fitted at later date without
problems.
Chain container for hoists up to 5t available.
Zinc plated design for applications which demand
higher standards of protection against corrosion
e.g. food processing, farming or sewage treatment (see page 22)

For information about models VS and VST

in fully zinc plated version see page 22

Close headroom
trolley hoist
VST

Close headroom trolley hoist

VSTP with push type trolley
Capacities 500 - 5.000 kg

VSTG with geared type trolley

Capacities 500 - 10.000 kg
The Yale close headroom trolley hoist model VST
uses a spur geared chain hoist which is rigidly
connected to a manual trolley by means of a
crossbar. This configuration combines compactness
and robustness with very low overall height. The
compact design makes it ideal for those applications with low ceilings and limited headroom.

Features
Preadjustment, fine adjustment and fitting to the
beam is extremely easy by adjusting the round
nuts (except VSTG 10 t)
Adjustable to fit a wide range of beam profiles
(e.g., INP, IPE and IPB). The trolley wheels are
designed for a max. beam profile incline of 14%
(DIN 1025 Part 1).
Excellent rolling features due to machined steel
wheels mounted on prelubricated, encapsulated
ball bearings.
Anti-tilt and anti-drop devices as standard.

Special designs
Buffers can be fitted optionally.
Locking device to secure the trolley in position on
the beam (park position e.g. on ships).
All models (except 500 kg) can be optionally
equipped with an overload prevention device in
the form of a slip clutch which is factory preset to
approx. 25 % 15 % overload.
Chain container for hoists up to 5000 kg.

Yale hoists and trolleys are

not designed for passenger elevation
applications and must not be used
for this purpose!

18

(e.g. food processing, farming or sewage
treatment, see page 22).
