Francois Beauchemin of the Anaheim Ducks National Hockey League team believes the
recent Mumps epidemic among NHL players may have spread from the St. Louis Blues.
This season, Beauchemin, along with teammate Corey Perry and several other
professional hockey players were infected by the Mumps virus. According to
Beauchemin, before the infection had been determined to be Mumps several players on
the St. Louis Blues team were shown exhibiting "flu-like" symptoms. These symptoms
have yet to be confirmed as Mumps by the St. Louis medical staff. Beauchemin stated it
was after a game against the Minnesota Wild, who had played against St. Louis the night
before, when he first noticed the Mumps symptoms. As of now the entire Anaheim Ducks
team is cleared of the disease.

other dishonest plays. If Neal receives another citation he will be fined an additional
$3,000.

Sony Pictures decided earlier this week to cancel the release of their latest film The
Interview after a recent hacking attack on their network. On Friday actor and political
activist George Clooney released a statement arguing that the film should still see a
release. According to Clooney, the decision to not release the film means that another
country is dictating what Americans are allowed to watch for entertainment. Clooney
believes the film should be released anyway, stating that doing so would take a stand
against terrorist threats. Despite this, there have been no signers for the petition to release
the film.
