VIPASSANA MEDITACIJA

Vipassana, to znai videti stvari onakve kakve one stvarno jesu, je svetska najstarija,
najjednostavnija, ali ipak najefektivnija tehnika meditacije. Istinski nauna I
nesektaka, Vipassana je nazvana univerzalnim lekom za univerzalne bolesti.
Dobro, nije potrebno da vam kaemo koliko je teko uspostaviti kontrolu ili mir uma.
Um se poredi sa poludelim majmunom. Bio jednom jedan majmun, nemiran po
svojoj sopstvenoj prirodi, kao i svi drugi majmuni. Kao da to nije bilo dovoljno, neko je
majmuna poteno napio vinom, tako da je on postao jo nemirniji. Onda ga je
korpion ujeo. Kada oveka ujede korpion, on skae skoro ceo dan, tako da je
jadnom majmunu ovo stanje bilo gore nego ikad. Da bi upotpunio majmunovu
patnju demon je uao u njega. Koji jezik moe da opie nekontrolisani nemir tog
majmuna? Ljudski um je poput tog majmuna. (Swami Vivekananda, Raja-Yoga)
Meditacija, kada je raena ispravno, ne samo da smiruje um ve ga isto tako i
izorava. Javlja se ogromna otvorenost I jasnoa, jer prazan um nita ne blokira, nita
ne ometa, niti deformie.
Obino je um pun smea. On je poreen sa prljavim, pranjavim ogledalom.
Meditacija, kroz samo-posmatranje, postepeno odstranjuje mentalne zaprljanosti,
rezultujui u balansiranom umu punom ljubavi i saoseanja. U konanoj analizi,
meditacija je stanje iste svesnosti.
Postoji nain na koji stvari stvarno jesu, pored toga kako one izgledaju i ta mi
mislimo o njima: stvarnost sopstva, ivota i drugog. Kada je, u meditaciji, ova
stvarnost doivljena direktno, mudrost dolazi spontano.
Meditacija je konani lek. Ona uklanja patnju i donosi sreu potpunog osloboenja.
Na kraju, vi imate hiljadu i jedan problem, i pokuavate da ih reite. Ali ni jedan
problem nije nikada bio reen, zato to, na prvom mestu, vi nemate hiljadu i jedan
problem, vi imate samo jedan problem. Pronaite ta je to i kako da ga saseete u
samom korenu.

Vipassana Meditation
Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is the worlds most ancient,
simplest yet most effective technique of meditation. Truly scientific and
nonsectarian, its been called the universal remedy for universal ills.

Well, you dont need us to tell you how hard it is to control or pacify the mind. It has
been compared to the maddened monkey. There was a monkey, restless by his
own nature, as all monkeys are. As if that were not enough someone made him
drink freely of wine, so that he became still more restless. Then a scorpion stung him.
When a man is stung by a scorpion, he jumps about for a whole day; so the poor
monkey found his condition worse than ever. To complete his misery a demon
entered into him. What language can describe the uncontrollable restlessness of
that monkey? The human mind is like that monkey. (Swami Vivekananda, RajaYoga) Meditation, when done correctly, not only calms down the mind, but
sharpens it as well. There is tremendous openness and clarity, because an empty
mind obstructs nothing, overcrowds nothing, distorts nothing.

Ordinarily, the mind is full of rubbish. It has been compared to a dirty, dusty mirror.
Meditation, through self-observation, gradually eradicates mental defilements,
resulting in a balanced mind full of love and compassion. In the final analysis,
meditation is a state of pure consciousness.

There is some way that things actually are, apart from how they seem and what is
thought about them: the actuality of self, life and another. When, in meditation, this
actuality is experienced directly, wisdom arises spontaneously.

Meditation is the ultimate medicine. It ends suffering and brings the highest
happiness of full liberation.

In conclusion, you have a thousand and one problems, and you try to solve them.
But not even a single problem is ever solved, because in the first place you dont
have a thousand and one problems, you have only one. Find out what it is and how
to cut the very root of it.
