Must See Places in Vienna
1. Sthephansdom (Mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna and the seat
of the Archbishop (Stephansplatz METRO U1,U3)
2. Operahaus - Vienna State Opera - Opernring 2 (One of the most popular operas to go is
on the 1st of January a day after the New Year begins. (Book tickets long time in advance
in order to get a place)
3. Naturhistorisches Museum Wien (Natural History Museum) - Burgring 7
4. Caf HAWELKA (A very old and traditional coffee shop in town. Family owned dated back
since the WWII. Try the Wiener Melange coffee with some nice warm BuchteIn. Definitely
give it a shot).
5. Figlmueller - Bckerstrae 6 (Probably you are eating one of the best Wiener Schnitzel
in town. Also ask for Preiselberren as a dip to enjoy your delicious and crunchy schnitzel.
They can make you the schnitzel either from Pork, Chicken or Beef. Pork taste really good
and most people prefer it!
6. Ribs of Vienna Weihburggasse 22 (Take a seat downstairs in the old fashion
basement and enjoy the nice saucy spare ribs. Propably the best spare ribs in town!!)
7. Ellas Ouzeri Wollzeile 21 (Here everything you eat comes from Greece. Trust them
they know what they serve!!)
1. Prater Praterstern (METRO U2) (Try the Schweizerhaus for a nice Viennese/Bohemian
meal and seat out in a typical Viennese Beer Garden (weather permitting). It is highly
recommended to book a table in advance especially during the busy summer weekends.
Try and order the famous Stelze meal (Roasted Pork Schank) and a Radler to go with!
Leave drunk otherwise stay there until you really are !!)
2. Planetarium Wien - Oswald-Thomas-Platz 1 (Ive been once there and I enjoyed it!)

1. Meierei im Stadtpark (This is another nice place for your everyday breakfast. I warn you
breakfast in Vienna can cost as much as a proper meal so you are warned )

shops of any kind)

1. Tiergarten in Schnbrunn (The oldest ZOO in the world. Also if you are fancy and bored
go and see the palace nearby and also the magical garden if there are still flowers
around :p)
22nd District
1. Danube Tower (252 meters high including the A1 antenna mast. The PANORAMA
restaurant is located at 160 metres which also turns 360 degrees while you are enjoying
the beautiful view and at the same time having a typical Wiener Melange coffee with a
nice Apfelstrudel.
2. Donauzentrum (The largest shopping mall in the city. You can find almost anything you
are looking for !)
