TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY

CATALYST: RISE OF THE VIPERS
II.
RATIONALE
The Business and Management Student Executive Council (B&MSEC) is the
student council of Business and Management students in Ateneo de Davao
University. The B&MSEC takes pride of its students whose holistic formation is hone
through academic excellence, spiritual maturity, organizational innovation, personal
development, and social responsibility. This institution shapes competent business
leaders who will soon be the catalysts of nation building, social dependability and
economic development. The B&MSEC also intends to unite each student in all future
activities by the student council.
In developing such practice, the B&MSEC has proposed to organize a beneficial

night party activity in relation with the incoming BM Orientation Night, which will be
on June 20, 2014. This party will be benefitting the House of Cancer, the B&MSECs
chosen charity.
III.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The activity CATALYST: RISE OF THE VIPERS aims to achieve the following
objectives:
1. Unity of each student and for the students to come together as one department
2. Develop teamwork and camaraderie among the members of the BMSEC.
3. Develop and hone the skills of socialization with the different students embodying
the different courses of the B&M department.

4. Involve students in the practice of sharing through the beneficial party in order to
practice social involvement.
5. Generate profit for additional funding for future B&MSEC events.
IV.
PROCEDURE
A. Arrangements and Negotiation
The BMSEC will be making arrangements with Acropolis Super Club to have
their club area as the venue for the activity. The BMSEC will negotiate with the
businesses within the area of the club to be sponsors for the activity. Another
move the B&MSEC will be taking is the negotiation of BMSEC with sponsors
outside the area of the club. The B&MSEC will also be negotiating with the
benefactor, House of Cancer concerning the needs of the residents of the said
charity.
The SEC will also be inviting a DJ from Manila as a special guest for the
event. Acropolis will fund the talent fee of the DJ.
B. Ticket Design, Printing, and Selling

The design of the tickets for the activity CATALYST: RISE OF THE VIPERS
should have the following details:
1. Ticket size: 1.53.5 in. (or any as long as the content can fit)
2. Title and Logo of Catalyst: Rise of the Vipers
3. Ticket number (No. 001 800 for each screening time)
4. BMSEC
5. Sponsors / Partners
6. Venue: Acropolis Super Club
7. Screening time: 8:00pm

In the printing phase, the BMSEC will have Imageworld Graphic Sales, Inc.,
Print To Go, Papo, or Dillera Printing Services for printing the tickets. There will
be a total of 800 tickets to be printed and each ticket, inclusive of food and drink,
will be sold at a price of P200.00. Tickets are non-refundable. Before selling the
tickets, the members will first meet to be briefed regarding the selling of the
tickets. The BMSEC aims to sell all of it to maximize its profit.
C. Clubbing Operations
On the day of the activity, there will be two groups of 10 members from the
BMSEC a total of 20 members. The first group will be assigned for the ticketing
booth and the second will be assigned for the set-up and checking inside the club
area. Through this, B&MSEC will be able to properly manage the area without
confusion as to who the following appointed persons will be responsible to
certain areas.
There is only a 30-minute time interval for attendees to get inside Acropolis
Super Club. All members of the BMSEC who are present will check the ticket
proof of purchase.

The start of the activity are set 30 minutes before the actual starting time in order
for the viewers to arrive early and for the members of the BMSEC to prepare the
area for final renditions.
