Introduction
With less than 37 years of this earth’s existence remaining before a cataclysmic ending, it
seems a matter of some urgency that we should know what is about to happen.
2 Peter 3:10-13
10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass
away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and
11
the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dis-
12
solved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking
for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dis-
13
solved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, ac-
cording to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness
dwells.
Ishow
did not set out to calculate the appointed time of our Lord’s return, but in this paper I will
you Biblical proof that this is what will happen as scheduled. This exercise consumed
lots of time but proved mostly futile. Then I found a math clue in Psalms 90:4 and 2 Peter
3:8. “to the Lord, a thousand years is the same as one day” is not merely allegorical.
The surprising result proved to be a simultaneous solution of two simple little equations in-
volving 1000 years equal a day and 360 days equal a year.
From the conversion constants thus derived I chose to investigate Daniel’s numbers to see if
I might find some interesting results. That is where I hit the mother lode. To begin with I
calculated 1335 days to be the appointed end time at 2060 AD. Read the text and you will
find some other interesting observations as well. It turns out that 2060 AD comes from the
calculation of Daniel’s 1335 days X 5 years/3 days = 2225 years. This number obviously
needs a base date to start from as we arbitrarily reset our calendar to the year 1 about the
time of Jesus’ birth. A major prophecy appears to have been fulfilled around 167 BC. The
magic in this number is that 2225 years exceed 2060 by exactly 165 years and that 167 BC is
the historcal date that comes from 165 additional years to 2060 AD.
Beginning in 167 BC and proceeding 2225 years ahead we reach 2060 AD (2225 years - 165
years = 2060). The reason for subtracting 165 instead of 167 is that 2 years are lost in the
transition from 1 BC to 1 AD with a single tic of the clock. Historically, 167 bc is the year of
Page 1 of 31
Antiochus IV’s abominations.
Curiously, I could not connect Daniel’s 70 Weeks to the Jubilees until after 2010. Perhaps I
was not allowed until the appropriate time? If Daniel’s 70 weeks might be taken as 70 Ju-
bilees that’s a possibility worth investigating. It’s a strong hint that 2225/50 = 44.5 which
places 167 BC in the middle of a week, matching Daniel 9:27. To make 70 weeks we still need
25.5 weeks. So 25.5 X 50 = 1275 years. Then, 2225 +1275 = 3500 = 50 X 70. For the start
date we have 1275 + 167 = 1442. The question now is how well does 1442 correlate to
Bible history. Some lands still had to be subdued at the time of crossing the Jordan River. In
the Bible chronology at the end of this paper, the raw Bible numbers show a difference of 13
years based on Moses death at 1455 BC. Accordingly, in 2010, Daniel’s 69th week was com-
pleted, and we are now in week 70, which will not be completed.
Secular sources state an earlier exodus date with some even declaring there was no exodus.
The noted Jewish/Roman historian Josephus states 1552 as the date of the exodus. 1552 -
40 = 1512, placing the river crossing 70 years before the start of Jubilee celebrations. Using
raw numbers taken from the Bible, I get 1495 as the time of the Exodus, not 1512. On the
power of Jesus’ word we know that the appointed time of 2060 ad is a date in earth history
that will not be reached (Matthew 24:22, Mark 13:20) The 69th week in Daniel’s prophecy,
2010 AD therefore marks the last Jubilee week before His return. Thank you for reading the
document this far.

is therefore a conversion key which can be used to convert prophetic day number-
into years, and vice versa.
This opens the possibility that 5/3 yr/day is the quantitative key that will open
the door to an area of truth not previously explored. Let’s find out.

Prophetic Arithmatic
InnotDaniel’s time, a year was considered to be 360 days and the calendar had
yet become astronomically stable. Long division was not yet in service.
The time units of weeks, days and years were notably unstable among prophetic
writers, often being applied interchangeably. Notably, Daniel’s 70 week
prophecy appears to use the term week, not as a week of years but as a 49
year jubilee with the jubilee year added at the end of 49 years, so the jubilee to-
tal would be 50 years. The 70 weeks by this reasoning is equal to 3500 years.
Thus the major jubilee of 50 years was comprised of lesser, 7 year jubilees in
which the land was to lie fallow in the 7th year. Some numbers given to Daniel
apply years as days and other numbers reverse that method and express days
as years. In my research I made calculations with both methods and looked to
history to find how the units were to be applied. The section that follows will il-
lustrate the results.

We’ve seen that beings from other time domains have come to earth and de-
livered prophetic messages to people of recognized prophetic significance.
We might presume these messengers to be angels from Heaven as the Bible de-
scribes, and it can certainly be argued that the human consciousness naturally
accepts them as off-world visitors. It may be that these visitors come from a
time domain in geometric space that overlies the space in which we live.
God has indicated that 1000 earth years are as but 1 day to him and perhaps
a form of that time equivalence exists in multiple tiers of Heaven as sug-
gested in The Book of Enoch, The Book of Jubilees and other ancient texts. God
essentially tells we have a physical ratio of 360,000 days to 1 day between our
time domains. The divine speed of light and according to modern physics also
the speed of gravity might be sufficiently different than ours to cause the ap-
pearance of no observable physical interaction between us. A few differences in
parameters of our respective data sets then could place our time domains in
worlds apart from each other.
fied to explain. What we attempt to accomplish here is establish a simple but
logical calendar of events that God has planned for us. His word gives us clues
and renders it possible for us determine the season of events. Knowing the
seasons gives us strength in faith, with hope for the future, not dread.
You may have correctly noted that the constants we discovered in the intro-
ductory math section are reciprocals that can be used to convert days to
years and years to days. Daniel did not have the luxury of fractions and long di-
vision when the Lord told him to seal up the book. However he was afforded
that days and years were prophetically used almost interchangeably. The trans-
lators of the Bible are largely the ones who have discerned among the unit of
measure. So almost every mystical number that Daniel gives us is subject to in-
terpretation.
InviceBible prophecy there exists a tradition of using days to represent years and
versa. For the number 1290 in Daniel 12:11 it appears the choice is to
have 1290 days represent years, so we may choose to use the inverse constant
to calculate prophetic days. Then we will take the days therein calculated to rep-
resent calendar years. There is some reason to this madness as we might have
just as easily chosen the constant to convert 1290 days into years. In that case
the year calculated would be 1985, the actual middle of the 69th jubilee. But
what else is there to distinguish the year 1985 AD?
The short answer is that I had to calculate from the end to the beginning and
was able to recognize the base of 167 BC as the starting point for 1335 days.
The problem with trying to use 70 weeks as the starting point is there is not an
agreement of where the correct starting point of the jubilee should be placed. I
was fortunate enough to discover the constants and apply them to 1335 and
1260 very early By accident I discovered Isaac Newton had already discovered
the date 2060 AD. The constant I had discovered by taking 1 day = 1000 years
to be mathematical fact allowed me to discover the historical significance de-
rived from 1335 and 1260. Thus encouraged I only needed almost 15 years to
complete the job to its present status.
With each number we have choice to use the conversion constant, 5/3 or it’s
reciprocal 3/5. Except for the numbers given in weeks, these two constants
are the only two choices we have available and the choice must fit the con-
straints of history. We can calculate the numbers both ways and see which is
Page 7 of 31
the logical fit for our pattern. The basic rule is that we must follow a pattern
that God has laid out to Daniel. Subtracting the usual 165 years required by the
167 BC base time, the answer for 1290 days is a choice then between 609 AD
and 1985 AD. The 609 AD formation of Islam, Christianity’s greatest rival,
eclipsed the relative insignificance of 1985 AD. For the God of the Bible this
seemed by far an event that would possibly correspond to “the abomination
that brings desolation.” With apologies to our Muslim brothers, this seems
the more appropriate date to use in the chart. That is the reason the 3/5,
days/year constant is used for the first entry of notable numbers on the chart.
Later. I learned that Newton simply added 800 to 1260 to arrive at the conclu-
sion of 2060. But that was the genius of Newton who mastered Hebrew, Greek,
Latin and other languages helpful in his Bible studies.
The week numbers inside Daniel’s 70 Weeks are simply calculated at the rate
of 1 week is equal 50 years, the same as in a Jubilee cycle. Please allow me
to call your attention to the fact that I believe this to be the first time in almost
2600 years that the 70 weeks of Daniel have been related to the other numbers
encoded in his book. A week is seven groups of seven years each for 49 and a
Jubilee year added for a complete cycle of 50 years. The notable week-year
dates are 62 Weeks, 69 Weeks and 70 Weeks. See Daniel 9:26-27. For 62
weeks, ware 62 X 50 years deep into the 70 year group or 3100 out of 3500
which is 400 years short of the appointed time in 2060 AD, so we are looking at
1660 AD which coincides with Charles II restoration to the throne of England,
thus ending Oliver Cromwell’s Commonwealth. It also ends the era brought in
by the signing of the Magna Carta.
be completed. Therefore we can know that Jesus will come between 2021 and
2060. That is as close as I can calculate, confirming what Jesus said about no
man being able to know the day and hour. Week 70 coincides with the calcu-
lated time of the end in 2060. This number should be 3500 years from the time
that Joshua led Israel across the Jordan River to take posses ion of the land that
God promised to the seed of Abraham. However, the full seventy weeks cannot
be reached.
We’ve dealt with each of Daniel’s dates except the one encoded as 1260.
there are two dates that we may associate with 1260. The two numbers are
1935 AD and 591 AD. It’s a fairly obvious choice. In 1935 Hitler’s Germany en-
acted the Nuremburg Laws, stripping Jewish people of German Citizenship
rights, thereby opening the door for the Holocaust. The most notable event of
591 is Gregory I first claimed Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. 1935 appears
by far as the year the power of the holy people was broken.
One question we need to answer is how well does 70 weeks of 50 year Ju-
bilees fit with the appointed day of the end selected as 2060 AD. After an
exhaustive chronology effort I suggest that the 70 weeks fit very nicely. If we
go back 3500 years from 2060 AD, the date we have is 1442 BC. The second
section of this paper lists the scripture references and shows the calculations
that give us the chronological result of 1455 BC. This number does not bear the
mathematical precision of the dates we derived from theoretical considerations.
Please allow me to point out that the 13 year difference is much closer that his-
torians will even agree as the date of the Exodus. The chronology confirms
1455 BC as the year of Moses death and the difference between this date and
1442 is only small.

How was the base date for the Daniel intervals determined?
Verse 27, below, clearly indicates a time marker that is set in the middles of a week Daniel
11:31 and Daniel 12:12-12 also imply the date Antiochus IV entered the Temple and pro-
faned it.
of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of
abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation,
which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."
Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall
take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that
makes desolate.
Atken
this point I think I have presented compelling evidence that the seal is bro-
and the numbers from Daniel can be fully understood. I have very little
to add as the scripture can speak for itself. Let me show you one more applica-
tion of the conversion constants.
Daniel 10:13
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and be-
hold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left
alone there with the kings of Persia.
How long is twenty one days? 21 days X 5/3 year/day = 35 years
Let’s briefly consider further implications. Where God Himself lives it is often
stated that 1000 years are as just one day. By this reckoning 1000 yr X 360
prophetic days is 360,000 times a single day where we live. Could that be taken
to mean that in God’s domain of heaven that the speed of light might be
360,000 times the speed of light c as we know it? That would be 360,000 X
Page 12 of 31
186,000 miles/sec? Tag each item of mass per time domains that overlap. c =
186,000 miles/sec for earth, 360,000 X c for heaven. That would certainly open
a gigantic can of physics and we won’t pursue it here.
The chronology section will prove that 70 jubilees of 3500 years is appropri-
ately from a few years after Moses death til 2060 AD. If seeing these num-
bers mesh together from predictions at least 1000 years earlier seems magical,
let me add one thing. You can believe the giver of these coded numbers to tell
you the truth. Every number from the book of Daniel has a purpose. So here is
my final statement, using the very words of Jesus.

Years in the Hebrew calendar are labeled with the era designation Anno Mundi
(Latin for "in the year of the world"), abbreviated AM and A.M., (Hebrew:
) לבריאת העולם, and are numbered from the epoch that, by Rabbinical reckon-
ing, is the date of the creation of Adam. 30 September 2008 through 18 Sep-
tember 2009 corresponded to Hebrew year 5769; the Hebrew year 5770 began
at sundown on the evening of 18 September 2009 and will end on 8 September
2010.

(Example calculation: If we see a chart listing 1656 AM as the date of the flood, we know its
author intends that it could be translated to 3760 bc – 1656 years = 2104 bc. The Rabbini-
cal reckoning is that Adam was created approximately 3760 BC in Julian calendar
years.) Please be forewarned that calendar conversions are far more complicated than any-
thing I can hope to explain here. I think of my dates generally as being on the order of plus
or minus 2.
The Jewish Mundane era, beginning in 3760 BC, was not used until the 10th
century AD. Jews now also use dates coinciding with those in the Christian
era, but they treat the dates as belonging to a Common era and designate BC
dates as BCE and AD dates as CE. The creation was dated by the 17th-century
Irish archbishop James Ussher as 4004 BC.1

someone by finding out what the Bible has to say about a topic.

Genesis gives us a long string of “begats” that cause the matter of a Bible
chronology to appear deceptively easy. We find matters easy until we reach
the time of the flood. The Bible uses a distinct literary/math construction for all
the patriarchs from Adam through Noah. It’s of the form, “When Joe was 28
years old he begat Sam. After Joe begat Sam he lived another 50 years and
begat other sons and daughters, and then he died. All the years of Joe were 78
years.”
With Shem the pattern changes subtly. “When Shem was 100 years old, he
fathered Arpachshad two years after the flood. And Shem lived after he
fathered Arpachshad 500 years and had other sons and daughters.” Now you
have to add 100 to 500 and you want to know Shem’s lifespan, which turns out
a mere 600 years. We don’t have to use a total span of life years to calculate
the chronology until we get to Terah. At Terah, the form changes again, with
calculation difficulty appearing to increase at an almost exponential rate.
Genesis 11:26 tells us that when Terah was 70 he fathered Abraham, Nahor,
and Haran. Isn’t it so tempting to just say that well, since Abraham was
certainly the most notable of the three boys he must be the one born when
Terah was 70. That turns out to be so wrong! Here’s the solution. From Genesis
11:31, 12:4 and Acts 7:4 we find that Abraham was 75 when Terah died at 205.
From this we know that Terah was 130 years old when Abraham was born.
Some of history’s most prominent power heads have fallen into this little snare.
Abraham’s age is known at the time of Isaac’s birth, and Isaac’s age is known
at the time of Jacob’s birth. Since there is a passage in the Bible that tells us
exactly how old Jacob was at the beginning of the 430 year sojourn of Israel
(Jacob and his family) in Egypt, we can now link the modern era to the
Page 19 of 31
patriarchal era. The passages that allow us to do this neat little trick are Genesis
47:8-10 and Exodus 12:40-41. This is no small matter and the subject of much
theological debate. Later, we’ll go into a more extensive explanation.
This completes the overview of how we calculate the chronology table, so now
let’s get on with the nuts and bolts.
Chronology References and Calculations
Following are the Bible references for the chronology table and the simple
arithmetic process used. The first Temple was destroyed in 586 BC, a
date well fixed in history and used as the basis for this table. Calculating
through the period of the kings we are not concerned about the monarch’s age.
In most instances the facts are available but period of rule follows a more
pronounced literary/math pattern and is much easier to use for calculations.
The chronology chart begins with events of the future, simply because it proves to flow
more naturally when we start from near the present day and proceed backward to times of
antiquity. Due to their highly speculative nature, calculations for the first seven events will be
provided after the math in the next section. It seems a better idea than trying to conjecture
the future without establishing that there is sound knowledge of the past.
2 Kings 24:18 (NKJV) [11 + 586 = 597] (Zedekiah, the last Judean monarch ruled
until Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and took him captive to Babylon.)
18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years
in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Zebudah the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah.

Jotham
(2.) The son and successor of Uzziah on the throne of Judah. As during his last years Uzziah
was excluded from public life on account of his leprosy, his son, then twenty-five years of
age, administered for seven years the affairs of the kingdom in his father's stead (2 Chr.
26:21, 23; 27:1). After his father's death he became sole monarch, and reigned for sixteen
years (B.C. 759-743). He ruled in the fear of God, and his reign was prosperous. He was
contemporary with the prophets Isaiah, Hosea, and Micah, by whose ministrations he
profited. He was buried in the sepulchre of the kings, greatly lamented by the people (2 Kings
15:38; 2 Chr. 27:7-9). (Editorial note: This places a variance of 2 years 759-743 around Jotham.)

1 Kings 15:9-10 (NKJV) [41 + 918 = 959] (Asa)
9 In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa became king over Judah.
10 And he reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem. His grandmother's name was Maachah
the granddaughter of Abishalom.

the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the
Lord.
Now we can calculate the years of Moses. The following verses are not needed for
calculations, but too important to ignore:
[1495 -40 = 1455] (The year Moses died. Amos 2:10 (ESV))
10 Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt and led you forty years in
the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
Following are some verses that are also helpful in establishing chronology for
the formative years of Israel but are not used (NU) in calculating this chart:
Genesis 41:46-48 (NKJV)
46 Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph
went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
47 Now in the seven plentiful years the ground brought forth abundantly.
48 So he gathered up all the food of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt, and
laid up the food in the cities; he laid up in every city the food of the fields which surrounded
them.
We can ascertain that the sojourn in Egypt began 11 years after Joseph’s 30th year. This
includes the seven years of plenty and two years of the famine at which time he sends his
brothers to get Jacob in Beersheba. Finally, after two years of traveling between Egypt
and Beersheba, Genesis 47:13-26 gives enough information to conclude that there were
three years of famine remaining after the sojourn began. While this is all very relevant to
determining Joseph’s place in chronology, it has no bearing on the chronology as a
whole.
Must add 2.
Gen. 41:46 ; 45:4-6 (NKJV) [1925 + 7 + 2 + 2 = 1936] (Joseph’s 30th
year)
Genesis 50:26 (NKJV) [1966 – 110 years = 1856] (Joseph’s death year)
26 So Joseph died, being one hundred and ten years old; and they embalmed him, and he
was put in a coffin in Egypt.
Exodus 12:40-41 [430 + 1495 = 1925] (Using the Exodus to calculate the
beginning of the sojourn in Egypt)
40 Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four
hundred and thirty years.
41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on
that very same day--it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went
out from the land of Egypt.
This is when the sojourn of Israel in Egypt began. Jacob (Israel) moved all 70 people
(Gen. 46:27) of the nation of Israel from Beersheba to Goshen. The following verses will
establish the “official” beginning of the sojourn in Egypt:
Genesis 47:8-10 (NKJV) (These verses relate the 430 year sojourn to Jacobs age.
This connects the modern era to post-diluvian patriarchs.)
8 Pharaoh said to Jacob, "How old are you?"
9 And Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred
and thirty years; few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have
not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage."
10 So Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.
[1925 + 130 = 2055] (Jacob born 130 years before sojourn begins.)
Genesis 47:28 (NKJV) [2055 – 147 = 1908] (The year of Jacob’s death.)
28 And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years. So the length of Jacob's life was
one hundred and forty-seven years.
At this point, I should interject a caveat. This is where the simple man’s chronology varies
considerably from those of the theological power heads. You’ve just seen how we used the
simple statement of the 430 year sojourn and Joseph’s introduction of his father to the new
landlord (Pharoah) to tie the patriarchs to our present age in history. Power heads seem to
want to talk about Jacob’s blessing of Pharoah, the Hykso’s place in Egyptology, Paul’s
mention of the sojourn in Galatians; quotes from historians, the Septuagint, the Samaritan
Pentateuch, Church Fathers, ect. In short, anything but the simple statement of Israel (Jacob)
telling Pharoah his age at the time his family becomes residents of Egypt.
Let’s recap:
From 1 Kings 6:1, we can calculate the time of the Exodus as 1495 BC.
From Exodus 12:40-41, we can calculate the time that the sojourn in Egypt began as 1925
BC.
Gen. 47:7-12 establishes that Jacob (Israel) stood before Pharoah when he was 130 years
old and the sojourn became official through a spoken contract. This is actual ratification of
the covenant as Paul speaks of it in Galatians 3:17.
Though not really necessary, Gen. 46:27 establishes that the nation of Israel in Egypt
began with 70 people, 75 when you count Jacob, Rachel, Leah, Bilhah and Zilpah. The
sons wives were not counted.
Dear Reader, please recall that I told you in the beginning of this paper that you need to get
your Bible and check up on me. Now would be a good time.
Genesis 11:26 (NKJV)
26 Now Terah lived seventy years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
It’s incorrect to just assume that Abraham, being the more prominent of Terah’s three sons,
was probably the first born. This assumption turns out to be in error by 60 years. Don’t forget
the earlier discussion of how Genesis 11:31 and 12:4 prove that Abraham was actually born
when Terah was 130 year old. Using this information we can now calculate the time of
Abraham’s birth and relate the patriarchal era to the times of the sojourn and exodus.
The Biblical information on Jacob and Isaac is plain enough to allow the following calculation
of Abraham’s birth year. The Bible provides everything we need when we search
the right places. Thank God for computer Bibles with excellent search engines!
Acts 7:4 (NKJV) Establishes the year Abraham left Haran. (Terah died.)
4 Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there,
when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell.
Genesis 12:4 (NKJV) [2215 – 75 = 2140] (The year Terah died, and possibly the
year of God’s statement of Abraham’s Covenant.)
4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And
Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
Genesis 17:1-2 (NKJV) [2215 – 99 = 2116] (2nd possibility for God’s statement of
Abraham’s Covenant.)
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, "I
am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly."
Genesis 11:13 [32 + 2404 = 2436] (Reu)
13. Reu lived thirty-two years, and begot Serug.
Genesis 11:18-19 [30 + 2436 = 2466] (Peleg, world divided in his time.)
18 Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu.
19 After he begot Reu, Peleg lived two hundred and nine years, and begot sons and
daughters.
It seems appropriate to include the following two verses which may also relate to the time
of Peleg:
the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows
of heaven were opened.
(These verses indicate Noah was 602 years old when Shem was 100.)
Wonderful! We’ve superficially finished this labor of chronology for the history
of God and man, but at this point let’s pose an intriguing question. How
“old” was Adam when God created him? How impractical if he were only 6 days
old (constructed from 6 day-old material) because he would not have a mother
and God would be forced to baby sit. From the Biblical account it appears that
God was dealing with an adult man in His own likeness. So what “age” did
G+od give Adam at the moment of his creation? For that matter, what “age” did
God give the world at each specific moment of creation?
Wecalculate
can calculate that God created Adam back in 4223 BC, but we can’t
how “old” he was at the time of creation, nor the earth. We might
speculate that Adam was maybe 33 years old when he was created or that the
earth was 3 or 4 billion years old when it was created. God sure is lucky that He
didn’t have to do any of this stuff by our rules. He might still be bottled up in
committee.
One of the most significant dates from the chronology is 1495 BC, the Exodus.
It comes with a +/- interval of 21 years. So by these calculations the Exodus
occurred between 1474 and 1516. It’s a number that is of extreme interest in
the previous section because we examine it to see if it might be considered as
the beginning of Daniel’s 70 weeks which we find a pretty good reason to
theorize that to be a 3500 year period of time. Based on that, the season of
Lord Jesus’ eminent return centers around 2060 AD.
5.hisAndarmy,
now it was that the king of Babylon sent Nebuzaradan, the general of
to Jerusalem, to pillage the temple, who had it also in command to
burn it and the royal palace, and to lay the city even with the ground, and to
transplant the people into Babylon. Accordingly, he came to Jerusalem in the
eleventh year of king Zedekiah, and pillaged the temple, and carried out the
vessels of God, both gold and silver, and particularly that large laver which
Solomon dedicated, as also the pillars of brass, and their chapiters, with the
golden tables and the candlesticks; and when he had carried these off, he set
fire to the temple in the fifth month, the first day of the month, in the eleventh
year of the reign of Zedekiah, and in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar: he
also burnt the palace, and overthrew the city. Now the temple was burnt four
hundred and seventy years, six months, and ten days after it was built. It was
then one thousand and sixty-two years, six months, and ten days from the de-
parture out of Egypt; and from the deluge to the destruction of the temple, the
whole interval was one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven years, six
months, and ten days; but from the generation of Adam, until this befell the
temple, there were three thousand five hundred and thirteen years, six months,
and ten days; so great was the number of years hereto belonging. And what ac-
tions were done during these years we have particularly related. But the general
of the Babylonian king now overthrew the city to the very foundations, and re-
moved all the people, and took for prisoners the high priest Seraiah, and Zepha-
niah the priest that was next to him, and the rulers that guarded the temple,
Page 30 of 31
who were three in number, and the eunuch who was over the armed men, and
seven friends of Zedekiah, and his scribe, and sixty other rulers; all which, to-
gether with the vessels which they had pillaged, he carried to the king of Baby-
lon to Riblah, a city of Syria. So the king commanded the heads of the high
priest and of the rulers to be cut off there; but he himself led all the captives
and Zedekiah to Babylon. He also led Josedek the high priest away bound. He
was the son of Seraiah the high priest, whom the king of Babylon had slain in
Riblah, a city of Syria, as we just now related.
Conclusion:
B y now, I’m pretty much an exhausted old man, so whether I like it or not this
essay is pretty much finished. I said in the introduction that my initial
objective was to find some astonishing truths hidden in God’s word and make
some money. To date I’ve only spent money on the project so my net profit is
less than zero, but all that time searching the scriptures didn’t leave me empty
handed. I came out with the following:
