INTRODUCTION
Applications are invited from eligible students of Karnataka
for KCET 2015 (Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2015)
registration to MBBS course for the academic session 2015-16.
Candidates seeking MBBS admissions at government medical
colleges and private medical colleges can appear for KCET
2015 held on 29th & 30th April 2015.

Candidates have to fill KCET 2015 application form, which is

available on the official website of Karnataka Examinations
Authority (KEA).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates seeking MBBS admission 2015 at medical colleges in
Karnataka must have passed 12th Std. or equivalent examination
with English as one of the languages and a minimum of 50% of
marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects (aggregate of three)
(40% in the case of SC/ST).

APPLICATION FORM PROCEDURE
1. Enter all the mandatory information in the KCET 2015 application
form available in KEA website.
2. After submitting details, Unique Application Number and Password
will be generated, which candidates will receive on their registered
mobile number/ e-mail address.
3. Upload scanned image of recent color Photograph, Candidates
Signature, Left Thumb Impression and Parents signature in JPG/
JPEG format.
4. Print Copy of Challan Form
5. Submit the application fee through challan form in the specified
bank branches or computerized post offices.

Candidates of Karnataka origin have to pay a fee of Rs. 650 for

General and OBC (Rs. 500 for SC/ST).
Candidates residing outside Karnataka have to pay a fee of Rs.
750/-.
Candidates residing outside India have to pay a fee of Rs.
1000/-.

COUNSELING PROCESS

1. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in KCET 2015

(40% in the case of SC/ST) to seek admissions at various medical
colleges in Karnataka.
2. The seat allotment to MBBS course will be conducted online by
obtaining options from eligible candidates in the order of
merit/rank in KCET 2015
