Lesser of Three Evils

I have looked at all three of the major candidates that will be running this fall in the 2008
Presidential Election and I've determined that none of them are worthy of packing my lunch
let alone being President of the United States.

Am I being disrespectful to these three yahoo's, uh, urrrr, public servants? I don't think I am.
Let's look at what each of the three candidates has to offer and what they say they will do
once elected.

Hillary Clinton, according to a campaign video narrated by her husband and former President
Bill Clinton, is the second holiest women ever to walk this earth; right behind Mother Teresa.
My first question, after hearing Bill Clinton make warm and fuzzy on his wife, is why should
we believe you, former afternoon rendezvous behind the desk Mr. X-President? Did you think
we all would forget about your shenanigans in the oval office? Why would we even consider
your wife as President? How is a person to sort through what Hillary is for and what she is
against? Let's take a look at some facts.

There have been dozens of insinuations made against both Hillary Clinton and former
President Bill Clinton in some very shady incidents including Whitewater, the Peter Paul/Stan
Lee political contributions scandal and the Vincent Foster 'suicide'. Here's the thing about
scandals; although some of them may not be true, you can be assured that some of them are
true. That's a scary proposition.

Let's say that none of these scandals are true. There's still the thing about Hillary Clinton's
promise to make same sex marriages legal in these United States. According to an interview
by Ellen Degeneres (posted on YouTube), Hillary is for same sex marriages and civil unions.
Ladies and Gentlemen, homosexuality is an abomination to God. Don't believe me? Read your
Bible. The Bible clearly teaches that God hates this sin. Do you want to vote for someone that
is doing something that God hates?

Barack Obama is a smooth talker and knows how to manipulate peoples desire for wanting a
big change in the White House. Obama actually made a statement in a recent speech that
Jesus Christ's Sermon on the Mount justifies his support for legal recognition of same-sex
unions. Uh? Jesus Christ said that same-sex marriages were good in the eyes of God? Hold on
there Kimosabe. I don't think Jesus said that but let me check my Bible . . . . Well, I just
checked. There is no reference in the Sermon on the Mount that says 'Blessed are those who
are the same sex and get married'. In fact, there are two references in the Sermon on the
Mount that contradict Obama's ludicrous statements. Matthew 5:17 says 'Do not think that I
have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill
them.' Jesus is saying here that He did not come to change the law that God already put into
action. That means Leviticus 18:22 remains in effect. Just because its a 3,500 year old
commandment, didn't mean that Jesus superseded the command of his Father. There is no
such thing as a statute of limitations on God's commands.

And then there is Jesus' statement in his Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5:31-32, that there is
only one reason for a man to divorce his wife. Notice this passage refers to a divorce of
husband and wife. Doesn't say lovers or the 'other husband'. Jesus clearly is referring to a
'husband' and a 'wife' in holy matrimony.

Obama then makes another blunderous comment. Is blunderous a word? My spell checker says
'No' but I'm going to keep it in this post. It is the perfect word for describing someone that
sounds like they know what the Bible says but really doesn't have a clue. The 'blunderous'
comment I am referring to is Obama actually calling a verse in Gods Holy Word 'obscure'. To
be more specific, Obama was referring to Romans 1:26 which explicitly describes the
unrighteous act of homosexuality. These comments by Obama really got my clock ticking
faster. The Bible has obscure verses in it? Obama, what are you thinking about?

So if the Bible has obscure passages, how are we to determine what is obscure and what is
important? Are you, Mr. Barak Obama, going to inform everyone on what Bible scripture is
important and the other passages we can just forget about? I've got an idea. Why don't you
create a new Bible translation. The BATBO version of the Bible; Bible According To Barak
Obama. In your BATBO version, John 3:16 would say 'For God so loved the world, and all that
other stuff.' Hey, that sounds pretty good, and it would save a lot of paper and ink due to all
the things that could be cut out. That kind of Bible translation would work if it wasn't for two
things. First, Paul teaches us in Galatians 1:8 that if the Gospel of Christ is taught in any other
way other then what has been presented in the the Gospel, that person will be severely
punished by God. Here's something interesting. Paul thinks that this fact is so important, he
repeats the same thing in the next verse (Galatians 1:9). Paul says it twice, it must be pretty
important.

And Second, in Revelation 22:18-19, John tells us 'I warn everyone who hears the words of the
prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in
this book and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of his prophecy, God will take
away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.' That
is about as clear as you can get it. You take out, I'll take it out on you. You add to, I'll add a
whole lot of hurtin' to ya.

Here's a word of advice, Obama. Sit down, concentrate on something other then what Hillary
is going to do next and actually read the Bible. Then understand the Bible. After that, then
try to make foolish comments that reference the Bible's obscure passages or that Christ
condoned homosexuality. You won't be able to because if you know and understand the Bible,
God's Holy Spirit would not allow such stupid comments to come flowing out of your pie hole.
Wow, did I just write that! Schnikers, I must really be wound up today!

And, for a second time, another candidate that is telling his potential voting comrades that
it's alright to sin AND its alright to vote for me too.

John McCain is a war hero but so was David and look what that got him. David ended up
falling away from God and God hammered him for it. God informed David that he would not
witness the building of the new temple due to his sin (1 Chronicles 28:3). And that's exactly
what John McCain should get as well. No living in the temple at the White House due to his
believe in Civil Unions.

Here's the thing; John McCain doesn't believe in same sex marriages but he believes in Civil
Unions and the legal rights that Civil Unions would give two homosexual individuals. Uh, get
off the fence McCain and quit doing the politician's two step. You can't be against same sex
marriages and for Civil Unions. They both promote the same end result and the same
abomination that the Old and New Testaments speak against. Jesus tells us about the Church
in Laodicea in Revelation 3:14-22 and the problem that this congregation was having with
fence post riding. Jesus gives this church 'the business' by telling them that they are neither
hot nor cold and because they are neither hot nor cold, He will spit them out of his mouth. I
don't know about you, but if Jesus sent me an email that said he was going to spit me out of
his mouth, I'd rather be at the final round of a tobacco chewing contest then be the one that
Christ spits out of his mouth. That can't be a good thing.

Yumpin Yimminies! That's all we got to choose from? I ask you this question - Who are you
going to vote for? The lesser of three evils? I don't see any good from doing that so here's my
recommendation. Don't vote for any of them! Don't vote or better yet, write in your choice on
your ballot. Even if you write in Santa Claus and is eight tiny reindeer, it's better then any of
these three nimrods.

It's sad that I've had to take time on a topic that is so negative, however, this homosexual
thing is tearing our nation apart and if we continue to elect political representatives that
commit abominations to God, the United States will be nothing more then another Babylon of
the Bible. If you don't know what happened to Babylon, just read the Book of Daniel and
Revelation Chapter 18. It's not a Walt Disney, Tinker Bell happy ending I'm here to tell ya!
