If elected, is there anything youd change regarding the terms detailed under
Ordinance 2013-415? Based on the concerns of local taxpayers, I would promote
increasing the number of permits allowed for chicken keeping and also
expand the utilization to mobile home parks, RV parks, etc as long as they conform to
local ordinance regulations. The only thing that should restrict one from keeping
chickens is if it is clearly identified in their lease or association bylaws. To date, I do
not see a problem with supporting this ordinance and its expansion, as I am unaware
of any formal complaints registered against chicken keepers.

2. If elected, would you support increasing the number of permits allowed city wide?
YES! I would support lifting any cap on the number of permits. Weve proven that
permit holders are responsible.
3. If elected, is there anything youd change regarding the terms detailed under
Ordinance 2013-415? I do not support the unilateral exempting of neighborhoods
without consultation with neighborhoods.

I believe this program operates as intended. I see no need for changes other than
possibly
expanding
