Other Information

Headlines
There has been a significant drop in crime over the last
three weeks by at least 35% showing that the team are
working hard informing the public of security measures in
a bid to keep them and their properties a lot safer, this
making Bordesley Green a much safer place to live.
There have been three Thefts of Motor Vehicles and three
Thefts from Motor Vehicles over this period, showing a
significant reduction of 50% in vehicle crime overall.
Three Burglaries have occurred two of these being in the
same area, whereby offender/s have got in due to
windows being left open and stolen property from within,
again emphasising the importance of securing your
property and locking every door and window before going
out.
Anti-Social behaviour is big on the list of priorities, but this
is more to do with local fast food Restaurants who are
suffering with school students and other youths going in to
their establishments and using the facilities without eating.
The youths are then being rude and abusive to staff and
customers on being asked to leave. A number of youths
over the last few weeks have been encountered and home
visits have been made whereby warning letters have been
given to the youths involved with the possibility of AntiSocial Behaviour Orders in the future if they are found to
be involved in behaviour causing Harassment, Alarm and
Distress.
If you suffer from Anti-Social Behaviour please call or
email the team. Dont be a silent victim.

A dispersal order is currently in place in and around

Belchers lane giving officers the opportunity to move
problem youths out of the area for up to 48hrs, this in a
bid to help cut down on the amount of incidents that
occur in and around the shops and the McDonalds
Restaurant. Yesterday 13th march 2015 at least ten
dispersal orders were handed out to youths causing
problems in the area with one male being arrested after
failing to abide by the conditions of the order.
Police Sergeant 6989 Hanif Ullah and PC 21767 Russell
Sutheran have been attending school assemblies over
the last two weeks at Waverley School and Saltley
School conducting Anti-Social Behaviour inputs. The
inputs are designed to give Students the effects of ASB
from the victim and the offenders point of view.
Seven very young offenders of ASB and criminal
damage have been identified over the last two weeks
and these are now in the process of being dealt with by
officers and measures put in place in a bid to prevent
them from re-offending
