II. DESCRIPCIN DE LA ASIGNATURA

El conocer un idioma nos permite incrementar nuestro bagaje cultural, ampliar nuevos
horizontes, acceder a otras fuentes de informacin, obtener mejores puestos de trabajo.
El curso de ingls est destinado a asegurar el dominio del ingls tanto escrito como oral
conociendo su estructura y funcionamiento.
Ingls IV involucra el desarrollo de la comprensin de mensajes escritos y orales y
enfatiza la correcta produccin de los mismos, incorporando el estudio de los aspectos
estructurales necesarios para tal fin a un nivel intermedio de ingls.
III. OBJETIVOS
Al finalizar el semestre los alumnos sern capaces de:
1. Comentar verbalmente y por escrito, mensajes odos o ledos.

2. Manejar patrones estructurales bsicos para producir una composicin en ingls a

nivel intermedio.
3. Desarrollar e inculcar hbitos de lectura.
4. Manejar tcnicas para la produccin por escrito de prrafos narrativos y descriptivos
en forma controlada.
5. Expresarse oralmente con fluidez y correccin al exponer diversos temas
preparados.

IV. METODOLOGA
Se har la presentacin introductoria del curso y del Slabo propiamente dicho. La
profesora promover el dilogo constante con los alumnos para ayudar a que fijen y
profundicen mejor los conocimientos que vayan adquiriendo.
En todo momento resaltar la importancia y necesidad de su participacin espontnea
en el curso y que no slo
deben conocer, sino investigar los diferentes temas
tratados.
Se combinarn los siguientes elementos:
Exposicin por el profesor.
Ejercicios
individuales y/o grupales de aplicacin. Trabajo en grupos. Debates. Investigacin
de temas.

V. EVALUACIN
El reglamento vigente de la universidad exige la asistencia obligatoria a clases y que el
profesor pase lista en cada clase que dicta, anotando las inasistencias en el registro que
proporciona la universidad.
Debe quedar perfectamente entendido que slo cuando el alumno asiste a clases, gana
el derecho a ser evaluado y que en todo momento estar presente en la normatividad de
la universidad. El 30% de inasistencia impedir al alumno poder continuar llevando el
curso.
Habrn prcticas calificadas, Intervenciones Orales, Trabajos Prcticos,
Exposiciones, Examen Parcial, Examen Final. Para el promedio se tomar en cuenta
lo siguiente:

En cuanto al Examen Sustitutorio ser tomado en la semana 18 del ciclo y consiste en la

evaluacin terico-prctico de todo el curso.
La nota obtenida en el Examen
Sustitutorio, podr reemplazar la nota ms baja que el alumno haya obtenido en su
parcial o en su final, y de proceder el reemplazo se recalcular la nueva nota final.
