Why AUB?
Do more than study: Make (We encourage a maker culture where students see the practical
application of everything they do.
Do more than teach: Inspire (We want them to inspire a generation with memorable, groundbreaking
courses. To help them, we invest in their research, support them in their real world businesses, and
encourage them to bring innovation into their courses.)
Do more than attend: Live (We want students to live life to the full, on campus and off.
This shouldnt be difficult when youre surrounded by the New Forest, great beaches, and World Heritage
Jurassic Coast. Bournemouth boasts a great nightlife and culture too. Oh and London is just two hours away)
Do more than work: Collaborate (No creative subject stands alone at AUB.
Cross fertilization of ideas and techniques benefits everyone. And its exactly how students will experience the
real world. Our collaborations extend beyond courses that work together, to the wider university world and
links with the industry.
Do more than observe: Engage (We dont want our students and staff to be bystanders.
Theres plenty to be involved in here from debate to sport, volunteering to social life. A richer more rewarding
experience of life will be good for your studies too)

Do more than dream: Achieve (Were a practical university with strong ambitions for our graduates to
enjoy rewarding careers.

Our alumni constantly return with incredible stories of things theyve done, business theyve created and
awards theyve won. Read their stories here.)
