Even though the supplies status page doesnt

reflect extended yields, the page counter will
accurately reflect total pages printed

Monitoring software can be set to register an

alert at ANY point but typically it will correlate
with actual toner low messaging

The displayed life remaining only decreases.

It will not go up, even if a bad reading of a
too low value is measured followed by a good
reading with a higher value.

Accuracy of the toner level measurement

when the sensor first starts reading is at
approximately 20-25% toner remaining.

The accuracy of the toner sensor improves as it

gets closer to Toner Low and Toner Out.

This behavior is typical throughout the industry

for manufacturers using aftermarket chips.

Toner Low and Toner Out should always occur

after the Extended plateau, unless there is a
bad connection.
