Main Role (Overall accountability):

Responsible for Design, installation, implementation, application management and support of
new Treasury solution from Murex
Principal Accountabilities:

Provide technical support, implementation support, performance benchmarks,

infrastructure and architecture consulting.
Ensure that the changing needs of business are addressed continuously and appropriate
software solutions are recommended.
Ensure that enhancement or development is based on best technology and practices in the
industry.
Review the architecture, design, specifications and technical documents related to any
enhancement.
Balance the demands of the users and liaise with the Project Manager for timely
completion of tasks as per the set of rules of Banks Quality Management System.
Contribute ideas to help support team to become more effective and seek ideas from other
team members.
Ensure that high quality deliverables and work products are provided and meet
commitments for the schedule on satisfying the banks user needs.
Coordinate with Head of Application Management in resolving issues and disputes.
Ensue that regular updates on progress are conveyed to Head- Application Management.
Build and execute performance tests during build and validation phases to meet keyusers acceptance criteria
Use standard profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks, propose and build
solutions when required
Managing of architecture and timely housekeeping of unwanted objects.
Resolution of technical and functional queries for end users.
Troubleshooting of techno-functional issues.
Take database and file system backups
Recreate environments from backups or a target environment
System or service start, stop, enable and disable functions
Manage Unix level access to allow/restrict access
Run purging and archiving processes
Retrieve archived database and file system backups from TSM for environment
recreation purposes
Creation of maintenance, monitoring and administration tools and processes.
